"Lord!" A messenger breathlessly stumbled into the main hall of Kiyoshi castle, tripping on the last of the steps as he did so, all but rolling into the room, the letter falling from his grasp and out onto the floor in the centre of the room, interrupting a game of shogi.
His clumsiness was regarded with amusement, as the two teens put their game on hold.
From his casual dress - with his hair falling all over in a messy bird's nest and his kimono crumbled and creased - one would not expect him to be the master of this castle, and Lord of the entire Owari province. In his short years of life, he had already accomplished more than most men did in their entirety, even surpassing his father, and finally unifying his province.
Well, this took a while. Haven't really felt up to writing lately. I suffered an injury whilst squatting the other day, and honestly it left me feeling a little down, because I had been doing so well in it before hand. We can only do what we can do though, and I'm slowly working past it and focusing more on my benchpress. I intend to take the regional record in that by January 2020. But all that isn't really to do with writing, and isn't something you need to worry about. I intend to make this the best battle in the book so far, and have been reading up on history to that end. Look forward to it.
