Thinking it was game over I braced myself waiting for the pain. One shot went right past my face then another grazed my arm. The last one singed my jacket but did not connect.
Not believing my luck I act fast and knock an arrow. Only to realize he stoped shooting, looking closer I realized he passed out from blood loss. I guess his arm was shaky and that's why he missed. Next time I'll shoot them from a distance, before I get this close I probably won't have such fortune again.
Being more cautious this time I aim my bow and approach. Upon inspection I notice that the second scout is dead for sure. His neck is half gone and his spine is hanging out. This time I manage not to gag like at the shack.
This sim is to real can't they tone it down with a little. Bringing my focus back to the man that was shooting at me. I move up and kick his leg. Seeing no response I take out a knife and bring it toward his neck. Right before I stab, he let's out a moan of pain.
Realizing I was about to brutally kill him in cold blood I change my mind. Taking this chance while he's still passed out I remove all his weapons. Including a nice LZ8 semiautomatic a weapon with heated ballistic ammo, that was mass produced around 200 years ago.
It's a nasty weapon that can send heated rounds, that will burn through most basic body armor in two shots. One shot from this and It would have been game over. Looking through his supply's I take out a rope and tie him up. Maybe I can get some info from him and if not I don't loose anything.
Peeking over at the snow bikes my objective of running away just got easier. Dragging my captive next to one I grab some nano jell from the bike. Now this is some useful stuff it's basically medical jell made from an healing substance and quick powered by nano machines. It can heal most basic injuries in under five minutes. Taking some out I rub some on the scouts injuries. I don't want him leaving my care just yet.
After making sure I Secure all of the useful loot from the scouts. I strap it to the second bike and then tether the bikes together. So I can bring both along. Then I through my captive across my bike and tie him down.
Looking at the sky I'm think I only have around an hour before sunset. Maybe more or less I can't say for sure. Ether way I need to find some shelter. Starting the bike I drive further into the forested hills.
It's getting dark and the sun is almost gone. I still have not found a good place to stop. And I'm positive that it's about to snow I can already see some in the distance. I decide to search the scouts bag again. Maybe there is something I can use.
Rummaging through it I discover a tablet. Ok this can be good or bad. I try to turn it on only for it to say locked. Thinking to myself I grab the scouts hand and place it on the screen. And then it says double confirmation needed. Thinking I grab his face and open his eyes. Then click it turns all the way on.
Scrolling through I look for a map and there it Is. A map of this whole area valley and all. Scanning it I find where I'm located and then I look for any already marked locations near me. And yes I find that there's a small ranger station tower right past the next two hills. Not believing my luck.
Putting the tablet away I hurry to the marked location. It takes a few more minutes but I get to the Hill that overlooks the tower. With binoculars ready I survey the area. From what I can see it seems to be a regular park ranger tower. No gun placements no barbed wire just a regular park ranger tower.
Looking behind me my prisoner is starting to stir. Making my choice I race down the slope, deciding not to waste more time as darkness and snow descending around me.
As I make the approach the weather continues to deteriorate. Before I though it was just snow now I know it's a blizzard about to ruin my day. Jumping of the bike I try too secure them to a pole next to the tower. Then I throw tarps over them. Dragging my prisoner and supply's up the streps. I struggle as my arms and legs tire with the wind and snow bartering me.
Finally after much effort I close the door, collapsing to the ground my body sore and tired. Taking a few minutes I just lay there trying to recover. Sitting up I notice my captive is waking.
Man it's just one thing after another no breaks. I should have just left him on the snow. Grumbling I get up and kick him in the leg. Alerted by my actions his eyes shoot open and he starts struggling. Finally realizing he's bound he stops and stares around till he spots me. Confusion on his face he wiggles around apparently trying to tell me to untie him.
I laugh, yea like that's going to happen. Dose he even realize I'm the person who he was tracking and trying to kill. With his mouth covered I guess he can't really ask. Moving forward I grab his collar and drag him to a chair in the corner, where I tie him to with even more rope just in case.
I look him in the face. Then I lay down the rules. Ok Mr.Scout just so we are clear I'm the person you were tracking earlier, nice to meet you. Now you are going to give me some answers and if I don't get any I'll just kill you. There is no use in keeping a dangerous man like your self around to long. Especially when I get nothing from it.
With a look of understanding and defiance he nods his head in acknowledgment. Taking that as it is, I remove the cloth preventing him from talking.
POV captured Scout: This brat no older than my little sister actually managed to put me in this situation. Shameful is what it is, I can't ever hold my head up as an Elite scout after this. If she doesn't kill me that is. And these bindings where did she learn to tie people up like this. I can't even move my fingers and if I try it just gets worse. But it's not over yet, she's too young she'll make a mistake eventually.
