Kenichi and the rest were glad that the next day, Cacha was in good spirit. The incident yesterday did not seem to effect her much. The house was full of laughter.
That morning, Cacha noticed that Uncle Ryu and Uncle Hiro acted a little strange. More secretive than they normally did.
"Darling, it's nearly 8 o'clock. Should you get ready for work ?" She asked as Kenichi was still in his daily home clothes and played with Daichi.
"I take a day off today"
"What occasion? " Grandma Anderson asked curiously.
"Give more time and space for Jun to demonstrate his ability" His excuse was perfect. He could not tell them that he did not wish to leave the house because they narrowly missed another incidents last night.
The blue clan took actions againts Takahashi and their relatives. Their houses and businesses were destroyed overnight.
However, the blue clan did not trust Kenichi. They tried their luck to show Kenichi their power by trying to destroy his resident.
Fortunately, Kenichi had put his people around his resident when he moved in. These people saw the suspicious movement and informed headquarters. Hence, they managed to stopped them even before they touched the gate.
Currently, Uncle Hiro and Uncle Ryu were strengthening their security measure. Koji was out there to organise their men in every entrance of the district. So Kenichi chose to stay home and accompany his family
Just pass midday, Ren and Kuro came over. Without greeting the elders or say hello to Cacha, they went to Kenichi study room rightaway to have urgent meeting. Uncle Hiro, uncle Ryu and Koji were there as well.
"We're going to make move after sunset" Ren said first.
"Do we have enough power ?" Kenichi asked.
Kuro chucked "Few clan happily offer their help. We just need to devide their territory"
"Do we take any ?" Kenichi asked.
"West side which is in our border" Kuro had been eyeing that area for sometimes.
Kenichi did not mind if they only took small part of blue clan teritory"We better make it once forever. I don't like to jeopardise my family safety"
"Don't worry. They finished this time. we have a very valid reason to do it. I need to borrow your men" Ren said.
"Take Yu with you but you can't take the retired ones and those who already have stations"
"Sure. Bro, just stay at home with your family. Let me and Ren do it" Kuro wished to show his capabilities in front of Grandpa Anderson.
Kenichi gladly accepted the order. This related to his family safety. He felt more relief when his wife and his kids were with him especially with his grandparents and parents in law around as well.He even deployed people to protect Lynn in secret.
Late afternoon Grandmaa Yamaguchi called Kenichi as soon as he found out what happened the day before.
"Kenichi, how is Cacha and Daichi ? are they alright ? arw they hurt somewhere ? about your parents in law ? " She bombarded him with many questions in one time.
"Grandmother, They are fine. Step father has checked Cacha, she has bruises only. Thankfully mum and Dad doesn't know about this incident"
"Your mother know ? why did not she tell us ?"
"We don't want you to wory"
"how come we don't worry. Your grandfather wants to talk now !"
Grandpa Yamaguchi took the phone "Why don't you protect them better? "
"It's my fault. I'll make sure this never happen again. How do you know ?" Kenichi took all the responsibility. It was his negligence at the beginning.
"They called to ask for help"
Naturally, Kenichi understood who grandpa Yamaguchi refered as them
Last night when their home was destroyed, Takahashi asked help from family, friend and relatives but no one were willing to help.
Their family and relatives were to scare to help. They knew that the family hired underworld gank to do kidnapping and now the gank took revenge of them. They were worry that gank would target them too if they helped the family.
Their friends, who started to loosen their tie with the family, now cut the tie completely. They were too disgust with the family moral.
Since no one was willing to help, Takahashi put their ego aside and became thick skin to call Grandpa Yamaguchi for help. Grandpa Yamaguchi then asked Uncle Kaira to find out what was happened. He was very pissed off when Kaira told him about the Kidnapping attemp.
"are you helping them ? I've already reported them" Kenichi believed his grandparents would not help them but who knows.
"Of course no. You do what ever you think necessary to The Takahashi, any problem Let me know. Your grandfather is old but I can do everything to protect my grandchild. I'll find out if your uncle or his wife is involved. If yes, I'll give you justice. I won't proctect him"
Kenichi smiled "Thanks Grandfather. Cacha is really fine. I promise to bring her and Daichi back home after Christmas"
"You're the one who promise me" Grandpa was over the moon with the promise.
"I'll never lie to you"
"your grandmother and me are waiting for you to come home. Let your wife has peace time, she must be very shock. I'll call her in the next two days "
"Okay. see you soon grandfather"
As the sun was set, Kuro and Ren started to make move. Once the other clan saw Ren and Kuro acted, they too took actions.
While Kuro and Ren were doing what they supposed to do. Kenichi went to visit the boy who helped Cacha.
"How are you doing ?"
"I'm good. Do you really not recognise me ?" Raiden asked.
Kenichi shook his head "what do you want as the reward to safe my wife ?"
"I don't need any. You have helped us alot, what I did is nothing" Raiden eyes suddently twinkled "But if you want to reward me.. can I be your subordinates ?"
Kenichi frowned, he was stunned by the request. Yu coughed "Boss, he's been begging to be our member"
"No. he can't" Kenichi refused. He wished his young man to have better future.
Koji chuckled "Let him stay. okay ?"
Kenichi took a few second before he decided to go as Koji asked. "it's your responsibility" He told Koji before left
Koji patted Yu's Shoulder "you have to take full responsibility at him"
Then he turned to Raiden "You have to follow the rule. If you make a small mistake, you're out"
"Understood" Raiden then jumped up and down as soon as Kenichi disappeared.eople did their activities as normal. Office workers rushed to the pubs and restaurants for dinner and drinks. Shoppers came and put from shop and moved to other shopped, Shop keepers served their customers cheerfully. Streets were as busy as usual even some tourist were strolling happily.
No one reliased that in one particular building, an underworld clan had come to their end. Their existence were erased their teritory were taken.
Few days later they noticed that the district management changed. No one complains because the changing was for the better, especially in the western area. The management was much better and no one asked them more security fee. The area was more peacefull which attracted more shoppers to come. Business started to bloom .
