บท 173: Chapter 173
Kenichi massaged his temple. He suspected his father and the chauffeur set trap for him. However, when he recalled that Mr and Mrs Feng went to meet the family of their second daughter in law to talk about the wedding, his father was probably right.
He did not scare of his grandparents at all. It was just he did not want to compromise his future, so he reluctantly agreed with his father
"Alright then. But don't give them money or jewellery or that kind of luxury stuffs. it will insult them"
"Boy, if we don't bring expensive stuffs, it will let out family reputation down" Mt Anderson was angry.
"it doesn't matter. They just want my sincerity" Kenichi snapped back.
"Sir, How about you give them the gifts after the agree. This way won't insult them. It also show you if they are after your money of not" The chauffeur blurted.
"You know nothing about My Parents in law. They are not materialistics" Kenichi greeted his teeth. He hated it when some one insult his family.
The chauffeur was very guilty.
"Brilliant ! lets do that way" Mr Anderson ignored his son.
Later on the day, Kenichi was forcefully dragged to the business meeting. Then, they spent the whole afternoon doing big shopping. Ignoring Kenichi refusal, Mr Anderson bought the exotic shark fin, abalone, and bird nest. He also bough few set of high quality jewellery.
Kenichi was exhausted that day. He did call Cacha but he only told her that he had arrived and were very busy. He only called her back the next day morning on his way to the Feng's resident.
"how was your meeting last night ?" Cacha asked.
"Just lunch and doing few useless thing. I'm on the way to the real battle now"
"Don't worry to much. you will get it"
"I know. How are you there ? is everything ok ?"
Both of them were talking this and that while Mr Anderson was also on his phone. He was busy with his parents who lectired him what to do to support their boy. Before he hung up, the old couples told him to inform him as soon as Mr and Mrs Feng gave a green light.
After 20 minutes, They finally arrived at The Feng resident.
"Babe, I have to go now. Please wish me luck"
"Good luck darling. I love you"
"Love you too. I'll talk to you later"
"Is it their house ?" Mr anderson asked.
"Yes" Kenichi opened the car door and got off. He rang the bell. While waiting for some one to open the door, he suddently was very nervous.
"You'll be alright" Mr Anderson patted his shoulder when he saw how nervous his son was.
Kenichi rang the bell for few times but there was no answer. He remembered they were normally in the living room which was located at the back. so, He walked through the driveway to check.
He saw two boy running around.
"Hello Hugh, Austen" Kenichi smiled gently and patted the boys head "Do you still remember uncle"
The boys looked at each other and ran away calling their mother "Mum.. Uncle K is here"
Kenichi grinned when he watched the boys reaction. he was glad that the boys still remembered him.
"Who are they ?" Mr Anderson who followed kenichi asked.
"Hugh is third brother's son. Austen is eldest brother's"
Not long after, Austen was back with his mother. Alice was stunned "Kenichi !? when did you arrive ? I spoke with Cacha last night but she didn't say anything"
"I told her not to tell you first. Oh this is my father"
Alice had another blow. ForKenichi coming with his father, perhaps "wait for me in the front. I'm going to get tje key first"
She ran back home. she grabbed the key and yelled "Darling, please call dad. Kenichi is here with his father"
"What ??" Nick was dumpstruck.
"Hurry up !!!" Alice run back to the old house.
Nick called his father and told him to go home now because Kenichi brought his father home. Just when He ended the call, Alan came "Bro, Hugh said Uncle K is here. Who is uncle K ?"
"Kenichi. He brings his father as well"
"What ??"
"I'm going there now and you too, hurry up ! Don't forget to knock Sean door !!" Nick run to his parents house with his second son Al, while Alan was back to his home first.
Alan who was still on his pijama, dashed to his room and changed his clothes.
Michelle saw her husband was back from next door in rush. She followed her husband to their room."Where are you going? who is uncle K ?"
"Kenichi. He's coming with his father"
"what ??? hubby, perhaps"
"I'm going there now, I have to knock Second brother door first. You take baby with you and come as well"
"ok"
Alan rushed to his parents house as well. On the way there, he still spared his time to knock Sean door and told him about the big news. The arrival of the guests was really fire up the family.
As soon as he ended the call, Mr Feng who was having his morning coffee in local cafè with few friends, finished his coffee "Wife, we need to home now"
"why ?" Mrs drank her coffee as well.
"Kenichi is here with his father"
Mrs Feng's heart beat very fast. She nearly dropped her coffee cup.
"Who is Keinichi ?" His friend asked.
"He is friend of my kid. We need to go now" Mr Feng stood up. He held his wife hand then the couple headed to their car hand in hand.
Mrs Feng stared at her husband who was driving. She opened her mouth and closed it again. They both did not utter any world.
"Do you think they are here to talk about that" Mrs Feng spoke first
"Don't think to much"
"If they do, what should we do ?"
Mr Feng chuckled "what do you think ? should we reject him ?"
Mrs Feng signed "That boy is really exceeding my expectation. Before I was worry that he couldn't tolerate our spoil girl but.."
Compare with when Jung fanily talked about Sasha and Hans wedding, she had more hestitation. May be because they knew Jung family for long time and the Jung would never treat their daughter badly. Or may be because Cacha was too young and immature.
"there you go. Tya, Cacha is not little kid anymore. It was you who told me to get ready to share her with other family. Anyway, after the day he spoke with us, we already know it will happen soon or later"
Mrs Feng closedher eyes "looks like I really have to let my little one go soon"
