บท 136: Chapter 135
On Monday, the day was rather gloomy with scattered shower from the morning.
"Where is father ?" Kenichi did not see Mr Feng during their breakfast.
"He is in the shop already" Cacha said.
"Can you go to the shop today ?" Mrs Feng asked.
"Why ?"
"I told your sisters not to go out today, I don't want the babies to get sick. Please do some shopping for them and take your dad home together with you. These are list of fruit and vegie as well as meat. Buy them for your sisters"
"will do. how did Dad go there ?" Kenichi happily accepted the task.
"With Alan. He has early morning surgery today"
At 9.30, Cacha and Kenichi left home. He drove Mrs Feng's car to the shop while Cacha navigated him.
"This car is not bad at al" She grinned and she examined her parents' car.
"This is one of the series with the best safety features" He said.
"Of course. Otherwise My brothers would not spend so much money"
"Your brothers bought it ?"
"Yes. Three of them put money together to buy this car for our parents"
"We have shopping list for all of your sisters. How about Mum ? does she not need anything ?" Kenichi said.
"May be dad has it"
They parked the car on the small car park and walked to the small shopping village. Kenichi was surprised. There were only not more then ten shops but there were a lot of custumers shopped there.
"Dad" Cacha tapped her dad shoulder who was busy arranging apples from the boxes
"You are here"
"Mum asked me to get some fruit and veggie"
"Is it for your sisters ? get them by your self"
"Ok"
Mr Feng was finished with his box. He was about to push the trolley when extra hands helped him.
"I push it for you" Kenichi rushed to give a hand.
"hahaha.. Thank you but I'm alright.I do this everyday for year"
Cacha smiled "Dad, let him help you" She walked in to the shop with Kenichi and told him where to put the trolly. She greeted by the middle age ladies and men there.
"They have been worked here for many years" She explained it to Kenichi.
"Cha, this man is..."
"He is my boyfriend"
after she introduced him, she took the shopping list and put the fruits and veggies on a bags.
Kenichi helped her a little bit before they went to the cash register where she weighed the fruit by her self and put money on it.
"Do you have to pay for it ?" He asked confusedly.
"Yes, it's not belong to Dad anymore. My brother managed this but all profit go to charity. Now, We need to buy fish and meat"
She put all their bags on two large boxes and put them underneat the cash register before she dragged him.
They went to the fish shop next door first "Hello every one. Long time not see1" Cacha waived at the three men there.
"Hey Little one. Long time not see you, you are getting prettier" The old fat man with strong Italian accent.
"Thank you. Please give me two snappers medium size, two pieces of salmon fillet and half kilo of prawn please"
"your dad has ordered barramundi this morning"
"It's for Mum, These all are from my sisters"
"Sir, can I help you ?" The other man asked Kenichi.
"He is fine, he is with me" Cacha said.
"Your boyfriend ?" The old fat man asked again.
"Yes. He speak italian fluently" Cacha said proudly.
The old man smiled and spoke in Italian "are you Italian? "
"No. I studied in Switzerland before. So I learned Few languages"
"Have you been to Italy ?" The other asked
"Few times"
"This girl, I watch her grown up. Look after her well" The skinny old man said.
"I will"
"Nedy, becarefull ! This young man is going to steal your little girl" The old fat man shouted loudly and successfully attracted people attantion around them.
Mr Feng laughed and shouted back "what can I do ? My little on has grown up, I can't squeeze her on my trolley anymore"
"Hey Old man, Few years back, we are talking about match making Cacha with ny son. How come did you do that ? I know this man is more handsome than my son but my son has steady job" The guys on bakery shop shouted.
Kenichi frowned when he jeard what the men said "Is it true your dad had arrangemenr for you before ?"
Cacha snorted "Don't listen to them. They always like that. They said the same thing to my siblings"
"Really ?" he was relief
Cacha nodded. Shepaid for the fish while Kenichi took the plastics bags then they went inside the butcher shop.
"Hello girl"
"Hello. uncle, give me 3 bags of two pieces chicken breast fillet, two of Half kilo lean beef, 5 pieces of pork chop and hald kilo of pork mince" Cacha said as she read the shopping lists.
"Your boyfriend is really handsome" The lady said.
"Thank you aunty" Cacha smiled proudly.
"Is he mix ?"
"He is"
The man got everything ready in no time.
Cacha and Keinichi left the shop with the man tailing behind them and shouted "Nedy, Your future grandkid will be very cute like their parents"
"My grandkids are very cute " Mr Feng shouted proudly.
"Ah.. I forgot you already have 4"
"And 2 to go" Mr Feng laughed.
"stop showing off" the man in fish shop yelled.
"you are loser mate, you only have 1 " The one if bakery said loudly.
"better than you. you have none"
In no time, some other people from other shops as well as some shopper joined the fun.
Kenichi laughed at the men. They were old but they still behaved like children, teasing each other.
"Oniichan, lets put everything in the car"
"You just stay here. I'll do it" He took the meat and the first then came back for the fruit.
Mr Feng finished what he were doing then went to the back to the shop to wash their hand. When he was back with a box of fruit, Kenichi had put everything inside the car.
"Dad, let me do it" Kenichi took the box from Mr Feng. His heart ached to see his father in law whose hairs was halved white carried such a heavy box.
