บท 62: Chapter 62
On Saturday morning, Cacha was forced to accompany Alice and her parents to do some shopping while Nick stayed at home. He and the male had to decorated the door and the fence with red cloth. Madam Ng was reluctant to come home as he enjoyed shopping with her two daughters. She only agreed to go back when Alice complained that she was tired. She bought a lit of things for Austen, Alice, Nick and Cacha. After shopping, Cacha spent her quality time with her family. She and Sasha accompanied her parents and the elders at home.
Keinichi on the other side of the worlds was not idle at all. For the last five days, he did as many work as he could while she was not around. On Saturday morning, he had his morning jog as usual and had a quick shower after that. he sat on his balcony while called Cacha. However, she did not answer her call.
Cacha was on the living room. She and Sasha made finally preparation for the next day even, they were responsible to arrange the table for the guests.
"Cacha, who are calling you ?" Sasha asked.
"a friend" She answered simply.
"Friend ? is it Keinichi boy ?" Josh teased.
"For sure. Seems someone misses pur sister" Ed joined the fun.
"No" Cacha denied it.
She did not want to be teased. She then sent a text message to Keinichi
'sorry, We are bussy organising tomorrow event'
Keinichi read the text message and replied 'understood. talk to you on monday'
"who is that ?" Lana tried to peep. Luckily, Cacha was fast enough to lock her phone and secured it on her pocket "I told you it's a friend, a colleague".
"Lier" Ed teased.
"I am not. I tell you the truth"
Cacha did not lie, Keincihi was her colleagues.
Sean poked Ed head with a note book "Can you concentrate? if you ruined my wedding, I'll chop you". They were finalising the detail for tomorrow event as Josh and Ed would be the emcees.
Cacha giggled and sticked her tounge out to Ed.
Few minutes later, the whole family members were presented on the living room as they had a final meeting. The meeting was ended at 10 since every one needed to sleep early.
Cacha really did not know much about the schedule. Mrs Feng woke her up at 7 and asked her to get ready. Sean went to fletch his bride at 8 o'clock, the bride groom that Sean chose called Bret and Anson. Cacha was not familar with them, they were Seans' friend when he was in uni and never came to their home before .
Sean came back home at 5 minutes past 10. It was by purpose. Grandaunty had asked the fortune teller that the auspicious time for the bride to come was after 10 but before 11.30. Once they entered the room, they performed the bowing ritual. Double happiness character was also pinned.
"Groom and bride, please move forward" Ed exclaimed loudly. It was his second time so he was not nervous
Sean held Jasmine hand and walke to face Mr and Mrs Feng who were sitting on chairs with double happiness sign hung in between.
"Bride and groom first bow to the heaven and earth"
"Second bow to the parenst"
After that, Hans and Sasha arranged the groom and the bride to be face to face
" Third one, groom and bride bow to each other".
After Sean and Jasmine did the exchanged bow, every one clapped their hands.
"Ok, now, please move to the living room. We are going to do tea ceremony" Josh said.
Sean held a tea tray while Jasmine served a small cup of tea. Mr and Mrs Feng were the first one. Once they drank the tea, Mrs Feng gave Jasmine a necklace while Mr Feng gave a red envelop.
Grand aunty and grandma were the next batch and followed by Nick and Alice.
Grandma, grandaunty and Alice gave Jasmine jewellery while Nick gave a red envelop.
Alan, Michelle, Hans and Cacha did not participate because they were younger than Sean. The rule was only people that more senior than the hapoy couple are allowed to participate.
"Sean, Grand uncle and your uncles can not come. but, They have prepare these for you" Grandmother took a bunch of red envelopes from her purse
"They wish your happiness" Grandmother handed the red envelopes to Sean.
"Thank you grandma"
After that, Mr Feng put the red envelopes on each of Sean pocket "Sean, may you bless with successful life and luck"
"Thank you dad" Sean hugged Mr Feng.
"I reckon Cacha will get the most Jewellery and red envelopes when She got married" Fred blurted.
"Of course" Cacha said proudly
Sean ignored them all. He led Mr and Mrs Feng to sit down again on the chair before he kneeled in front of them
"Mum, dad. please accept my bow" Sean knelled and bowed in front of his parents
"Sean, get up" Mrs Feng held him after his second one.
"Mum, let me finish my third" Sean did his third one
"Mum, dad. Thank you for look after me, educate me, love me and support me all the way. I, Sean Neil Feng, is your son until I die. And, I hope that I am your son in the next life as well"
"Sean" Mrs Feng was speechless, she only could hug and shower him with kiss while crying.
Mr Feng wiped the trace of tears on the corner of his eyes then patted Sean shoulder "Boy, it's a happy day. Don't ker your mum ruin her make-up. It's rare to see how beauriful she is"
Sean and every one smiled as they wiped thiee tears.It was not only Mr and Mrs Feng who cried. Majority of the female also sobbed but not the bridemaid who were Jasmine cousins. The male did not sob but there was also trace of wet patch on the corner of their eyes. They all were touched with what Sean did.
"Mum, please don't cry. today is my happy day, don't let Dad scold me" Sean wiped tears on Mrs Feng cheek.
"He won't do that. Sorry. I am just too happy" Mrs Feng smiled.
"I though your name was Sean Dimitri" Bred asked innocently once Mr and Mrs Feng got their composure back.
"I change my middle name as well. Years ago, Dad told us that if he had other sons, he wished to name them Neil and Nigel. I chose Neil and Alan went with Noah" Sean said.
"why did you choose Neil ?" Jasmine asked.
