I returned to the castle later that day and decided to do some research on the city's history. I went to the castle's library and started searching for books that contained history or more specifically history of weapons and blacksmiths who were connected to the city because I wanted to see if the rumor that I had heard from the blacksmith was true. Unfortunately, I was having trouble finding books on weapon history until I ran into the castle librarian who recommended a couple books that he thought might help with my research and I also asked if he had any books on interdimensional travel which he sadly didn't. I returned to my room with the books and spent several hours searching through them before finding the tale of the blood blades. The tale was the same as the blacksmith said it was except he didn't mention who made them which fortunately or unfortunately the book did. The name the book gave for the blacksmith who made it was raskirin. With the name I found I searched through the books about blacksmiths and found his name. I didn't like what I found out but I will tell you it Anyways. The book said that he was found dead in a pool of his own blood while holding both axes which were drenched in his blood. I was also able to find out his only will was a very short note written in his handwriting that read something along the lines of the chosen one who finds the blades will have to go on a quest to find their secret in a mountain blue in order to protect this world from its fate. I returned the books to the library and started searching for the blue mountain the note was speaking of but with no luck. I asked the librarian who said that it must have been talking about the sapphire mountain of the west.
