บท 2: Family
Hendre POV
It's been four or so months since Chris has been born and I've become drained of all energy, funny how opposed to me little Chris is always full of it.
Since the moment I first laid eyes on him, he seemed to be running around the place with his eyes and mind cranking in all sorts of ways. Smart little fella.
I noticed him flail his arms and legs around trying to reach every little thing that catches his eyes. Strangely enough, if he keeps flailing at this rate, he might build up the muscle to crawl around the place.
Throughout these months Anhlica was no longer able to feed him, so we changed Chris's diet to a low fat beast based milk. He seemed to have adjusted fairly nice to it, might even prefer it seeing as he drinks it down quite fast. Of course, we have to pat him every once an awhile so that he burps or he'll get a stomach ache-- and once we learned how stinky a baby poop smells when they have an upset stomach, we decided to take extra care of him and his meal plans.
Most of what I know is cause of Anhlica and Jude, our home nurse. I'm been very busy at work and have had very little time off right now. I have to make connections with my colleagues in order to secure my new position, and that doesn't always go so smoothly when drama starts happening.
My busy work life aside, I still try to spend the evenings with my wife and newborn, they are what I love most In this world after all.
Plus seeing Chris gaze at me envious eating dinner while he sips on bottled milk makes me laugh.sadly he doesn't know that his milk is from a Mushroom Cow, and their milk cost a fortune -- definitely more then my usual dinner.
I want him to grow strong to be admired by many, and that's why I have many things planned for his future growth.
I look at Christopher, "Make me proud son."
