บท 51: Jealousy
Henry asked Sab to grab lunch after working out, but she refused due to other plans. However, Angel wouldn't miss this chance and insisted to go as long as he will introduce another goodlooking guy to her.
This wasn't difficult for him. Most of his friends are goodlooking and some works either in modeling or a celebrity.
Due to Angel persistent, Sab was dragged again against her will. She looked at Angel intensely, this was not likely her. Though she was friendly with bubbly personality, she is very reserved. Once she gets the chance, she promise to have a talk with her.
Henry took them in another way and use an exclusive elevator to go leave the place. He drove personally into a hotel and had someone deliver them some clothes.
When they entered the room, Sab took her phone immediately and texted Tom to inform him that she might go home late today. As soon as the message sent, her received a call from Tom. She check the time and it passed noon already and thought he might want to remind him something so she happily answer the phone.
"Where are you? Who are you with???" Tom asked without emotions. After learning that Sab went to a boxing gym, he immediately went to the place and wanted to drag her out of the place.
But to give space and time with her friend, he stayed in the parking lot, sulkily waited while dealing with other things in his car.
Upon getting the message from Sab, it was the last straw of his patience. The friend of her wife cannot be trusted and it seems he needed to know her more.
Though Sab said she help her a lot, he can't help but doubt her intention. No matter what, he will protect her wife even to the person she trusted most. It doesn't mean he needs to trust her anyway.
If she will cause trouble in their relationships, he won't forgive her. As soon as he arrived at the hotel. He called Sab only to find out that she already went out and gave him information where they went.
When Tom arrived at the private booth, he saw Sab and Angel with Henry and Alex Lee. His lips flattened. Her wife sitting beside Henry and Alex Lee besides Angel which can be misterpreted if someone doesn't know anything.
Sab stood up seeing Tom, she didn't do anything wrong but she felt guilty and fear. She look at Angel involuntarily and look at Tom again.
Angel felt that she is forgetting something and it took awhile when she realized what she had done and peek at Tom a little guilty. The person was too strong that she cannot even attempt to look at directly. She even tried to hide herself using Alex body, who seems to be bored and doesn't care.
She didn't dare to say anything, even if the man just arrived looks really good, she felt fear and her instincts telling her that if she spout nonesense she will be dead in no time.
Sab doesn't know what to do. She cannot just go to Tom and explain or else people will know their relationships.
"Mr. Del Monte...?" she stutter and wanted to slap herself.
Henry and Tom look at each other. Henry sneered hearing Sab. He knew something was off between the two. Knowing this, he held Sab's hand and tugged it, telling her to sit down.
He looked at Tom and smirked. "Mr. Del Monte... we met again. Do you need anything? I'm on a date.. It's not good to talk business now."
Henry said this as he pick up some prawns and feeled it then put this on Sab's plate. "Eat.. you are too skinny... don't be polite.. you can eat as much as you want."
Sab trembled and bit her lips. She refused to look at Tom. She was so scared that she forgot to blame Henry for being ambiguous.
She was racking her brain on how to explain and clear things. She really didn't do anything bad... she did not agree to be here.... she was forced.
Before Sab could say anything, Tom already pulled her in his arms. Then they hear someone came in. Everyone looked at the person who just arrived except on Henry. As if, he was expecting this to happen.
Linda was shocked seeing Sab at Tom's arm. Everyone expression seems tense as well. Thinking something might have happened that's why Tom was holding Sab, she tried to calm down and smiled happily.
However, the arm that hugging Sab's waist is bothering her. She wanted to drag Sab's out, ask, but she knew this wasn't the best time.
"Hi Tom, I heard that you are here and just want to say hi... I didn't know that you are having a gathering." her face flashed red looking at Tom, but he no longer looking at her, but with Henry.
Actually, she received a message from an unknown number and rushed to the room. It was just happened that she was also there eating with some friends in another private booth.
Her family belong to wealty family so was her friends. Checking out another room wouldn't be difficult, but not as this high profile as Henry. She guess that the person contacted her must be his person.
She didn't do any strings in order to get into the room. The manager waited for her and allowed her to enter the room without discussion. She look at Sab in a friendly way and smiled.
Behind this calmness, she had already imagine beating her into a pulp. It seems she had underestimated this woman. Her instinct telling her that Henry is interested to Sab. Why??? Aside from her looks, what else could be there???
In their circle, there were bunch of women who are definitely better than Sab from looks to background. It seems she really cannot judge someone base on their innocent look. Another chicken who wants to be a peacock. Let's see how far you can pretend.
Sab struggled and wanted to distance herself from Tom, but Tom gripped her waist and felt it can break anytime.
Henry notice this and wanted to take Sab, but Tom was quicker to dodge and look at him with warning. At his state of mind, one more wrong move from him and he will surely not be polite.
Tom do not know how to label the anger he is feeling. He trembled in anger when he saw another man serving Sab and showing concerns. His heart felt uncomfortable and the anger keep rising and it will not calm until he beat someone.
Sab notice this and tried to get Tom's attention, but he fiercely looking at Henry who is also seems in rage mood. She was confused all of a sudden at look at Angel for help, but she shrugs. She also doesn't know what to do and refused to be a punching bags of the two.
Then she turn to Alex but he has no interest in stopping the fun and seems very entertained. Henry look at another woman as another human being. Though he seems playful, he never really cared to them. Knowing that his friend makig such effort to chase a woman and his rival is not an ordinary man, equally in looks and status makes everything more interesting. He wants to see more.
No one was backing down. Though initially he made a doubt about the little girl, I think he understands why these two tycoon wants to conquer and win her.
She is a dumb, but the two men like her dumbness. She is transparent as crystal, he is 100% sure it's not acting.
She's naive and looks will believe in human words immediately. Hasn't been polluted by the world. "Amazing" he thought.
Though she was not a model like type, her face is beautiful... but it looks like she doesn't know this which added to her charm.
Her figure was not also bad.. these two... he laughed in her mind.
