บท 39: Saving a damsel
She smiled politely and look at the man but not really looking directly afraid that he might misinterpret it of something else. "I heard everything Sir but I am not allowed to discuss personal matters at work. I am very sorry. For your bill, it is $XXX.XX."
"Really? You mean I can wait and take you home later?" The man got excited as the thought. He knew this kind of woman can easily be persuaded by money. He was dressed nicely today as he came from business drinks. He felt that the woman tried to play hard to get but got frightened when seeing his indignant that's why she exposes herself immediately.
Sab can't help to curse. F..k what a shameless man. Where did his confidence coming from? She started to doubt lining up of stars constellation. Just a few hours working but she already met a pervert outrageous man thinking he can get any woman in this world. He is not really bad looking. He is just quite old for her. But compared to the man she is living with at home, of course, the man in front is just so so and can even consider below average.
If she gets in trouble again this time, Tom might really think that she is a trouble magnet. She can't get trouble this time. Her boss will surely scold her and might even ask her to pay for the damage. Instead of earning, she now needs to pay a fee for the damages. Hays... why would I have met this guy on all occasions.
"Please pay the bill," she answered with a little smile. Currently, it is more important to end the conversation. She can just think of a way to avoid the man later.
The man got excited seeing the shy smile of Sab and felt very lucky. The young woman in front looks much better up close. Her face was free from any chemical and looks very healthy.
Her eyes avoided his provocation and look genuinely shy. He can also smell the natural nice scent from her body that made his little brother react.
He got too excited and wanted to trap Sab immediately but refrain himself. He doesn't want to scare her, but he is unable to stop himself to extend his arm to touch that soft watery face.
Sab automatically steps back to avoid contact but didn't dare to show a big reaction. At the thought of his hand touching her, made her frowned in annoyance.
Though the man is not too bad, she still felt unhappy and disgusted at the thought of being touch by another man even the tip of her hair.
She thought of Tom again. They kissed on their first meeting, but it seems that there was no impulse rejection in her body at that time. Maybe because she was in a critical moment and needed badly his help, so it never crosses her mind that being intimate, and kissing is inappropriate.
However, due to the sudden movement, the man saw the irritation and unhappiness in Sab's face. He stops for a while and when confirmed that this was really the case, he smashes the items bought on the counter and tried to grab Sab again.
This woman doesn't know what is good for her. She takes him as a fool and pretended to be interested in him even if she detests him. Why? She is just a lowly cashier and he is the boss of a company.
This woman definitely only has a pretty face but no brain at all. She should be thankful that he had given her a chance to climb in his bed. If she had just behaved correctly, he would have thought of treating her well. But now, he only wants this woman to suffer for offending him.
He tried to get a hold on Sab, but the woman keeps dodging his advance. Because he was truly intoxicated, his stand is unstable, and a little movement makes his body involuntary in a different direction that's why Sab did not really make much effort to avoid it.
Customers started coming in but will immediately leave seeing the intoxicated man mindlessly shouting and causing the disturbance in the store. Also, the lady cashier seems can take care of the situation. She can still greet them calmly as if nothing is happening even if the man is cursing her.
Sab felt helpless, she was unable to say anything afraid that she should provoke more the man. She already secretly sent a message to her boss about the situation and for help. She just hopes that her boss arrives before the man destroys everything in the store.
Though she maintains a calm expression, she's really panicking inside. The alcohol already drained his rationality. His anger shoot to the roof and she cannot comprehend anymore with his lengthy, unreasonable and out of topic complaints.
She still alone in the store and even if intoxicated, the one causing trouble is a man that is way bigger than her. Though she knows a little self-defence, she will surely get hurt if she get involves physically with this man.
The intoxicated man got even more irritated seeing the expressionless woman. He had done so much already but seems this little woman still not getting what he meant. He angrily pushed everything his touches then he walks around to enter the cashier booth.
Sab notice the man's action and immediately jump off the counter table. However, the man already entered the booth and grabbed her shirt.
"Aah... this man. He really asking for a beating," Sab struggles but the man's gripped tightens. Hold it for few more seconds, she knows that her boss will be in the store. She doesn't want things to get escalated. Tom might really kill her if he finds out that she gets in trouble again.
The intoxicated man got more excited realizing he able to capture the escaping woman. Due to proximity, he can smell youthful and natural of Sab's body. It was nice and thought that he almost forgets this kind of scent. He wanted more but the woman keeps struggling so he is unable to enjoy the moment.
Nonetheless, the more she struggles, the more she refuses and the more she looks at him with haughtiness, the more he wants to concur her. He will let her know who he is and make sure this woman will never look down on him ever in this lifetime.
He smirked and forcedly pulled Sab to his embrace, but someone grabbed his wrist and sent him flying to the corner by a strong kicked and the woman who supposed to be in his arms are now in being held by another man.
The man was in great pain after realizing what had just happened. His anger rises to the roof and can't help to curse but due to immense pain, he flickered a few times because he was able to support himself.
As a man who thinks highly of himself, he easily holds grudges to anyone who opposes him especially the one who will hurt him. The man who bravely interferes in his business will surely scram.
He hastily stood up even in difficulty and glared fiercely at the man who came out of nowhere but sensing the strong intimidating and evil aura of the man who now looking at him down, he unconsciously steps back and froze.
The man is taller and well build than him. Though he is only wearing casual clothing, the man's face and strong aura don't seem simple at all. From head to toe, he looks like walking money. The sharp glared made of Tom bring chills on his body involuntarily. His instinct tells him that he will not win against the man and he will lose badly if he tried to make things difficult for both.
If he gets to offend someone that he shouldn't because of a mere cashier, it wouldn't be worth losing even the slightest. Though he felt perplexed looking at the beautifully clean and fresh face of the woman, he hastily dragged his aching body out the store without a word. If he wanted, he can always get more beautiful and sexy women that would be more obedient and will serve him well anytime.
Sab couldn't believe what happened even after seeing the handsome face of Tom. His timing was so on point like in a movie. It was scary and exciting, saving a damsel in distress. She leaned at his muscular chest to calm down.
She is telling herself not to get used to it, but her heart and mind felt so assured and secure when he is around. As of now, she wanted to enjoy protection.
Tom was infuriated seeing another man holding her woman. He really wanted to beat the man to death, but he stops in order to soothe Sab's feelings. When the bodyguard following her called to inform him that she works in a convenience store as a cashier, he rashly went there to check.
He couldn't understand why. He had given her everything already but the woman still willing to work as a cashier. However, his mood loosens a little seeing the little woman taking the initiative to hug him. He knows that she might have been scared again and if he was even for a few seconds, he couldn't imagine what might have happened to her.
