Unshakable Hero: I think we should start with our names. My name is Chet Rivers. What is yours?
Jack: My name is Jack Schnee.
Chet: I see. I've never heard of that last name before, but it's safe to say that you are the owner of Hero's Requiem. It's pretty obvious since your so out of place in this world.
Jack: Out of place?
Chet: This world has been created from my memories and I have replayed this scene and one other many times since I've been trapped in this book. I know how everything was supposed to go until you showed up. I didn't know who you were and the book has told me that you have been accepted as its owner. Knowing that I've been keeping an eye on the tournament more closely. Based on what I saw, you seek power. Is that right?
Jack: Yes, so that I'll be able to protect the people I care about and save them from the disaster that's going to befall them.
Chet: It would've been better if someone like you was among my disciples. Your strength and relatively good heart would've prevented the murder of all my disciples.
Jack: You're such a great hero and everybody praises you for how strong you are. How could they kill all of your disciples?
Chet: One of my disciples murdered the rest of them to get my secret treasure.
Jack: None of the people you picked seemed like they would do something so despicable.
Chet: It wasn't who I picked, but who I didn't pick. Frank was someone who became number one in the tournament when I was alive. I thought that I could remold his arrogance and confidence mold him into something more productive. It seems that I failed somehow. Frank in his greed and desire to become stronger heard that I had passed on the secret to my power to my favorite disciple. It wasn't true, but he approached each of them and tortured them to get the information out of them. Even after he killed them all, he had the nerve to approach me and ask for my secret treasure. I loved every one of my disciples as if they were my own children. I cared for them, taught them life lessons, and tried my best to make their lives better. In my rage, I killed him and the matter spread like wildfire. My image was tainted and everybody looked down on me. Later on, I found out that Frank was being manipulated by an evil witch to attack everyone. Even though that was the case, the magic the witch used only amplifies his desires and not create them. If he didn't have such horrible desires against his fellow disciples, then maybe they would all still be alive. Frank was merely a pawn to make me fall from grace and allow others to try to take the treasure they believed that I had. On the run, I ran into a young fellow who believed that I was a true hero in spite of everything he had heard recently. He gave me this book to pass on to someone else, but I had no confidence in choosing a worthy successor, so I gave the book back to the young man. He looked back in disappointment as I handed it to him, but I could feel that he was full of joy. It must have been the creation of this page in the book. My page being here must represent that the book accepted me as a strong individual with heroic traits. I still don't feel worthy knowing that I was accepted as a hero in this book, but it does make me feel a little better.
Jack: Aren't you curious about what happened to yourself after you left that man.
Chet: Even if I am, I can't leave the book, so I have no way of knowing whether I reclaim my good name or I die a dog's death on the street.
Jack: When I go back, I'll see what I can find, but I make no promises on getting you all the answers.
Chet: I would be grateful.
Jack: Do you mind having a quick spar with me?
Chet: No, I don't think I will.
Jack: Why not?
Chet: I don't like to fight, besides I rather pass down my secret treasure to you instead. It's not like I'm going to be leaving anytime soon.
Jack: Thanks. What is it?
Chet: It's a magical armor that can block anything. It can even change its shape to protect one part of your body or your whole body. Another interesting thing about it is that you can change its appearance to anything you want. You should be careful of who you tell and give it to. You never know if there is a Frank by your side waiting for the opportunity to strike. Oh, and it needs to be charged with energy otherwise it's useless. That's why you need to make sure it always has energy in case of a emergency.
Jack: Is there a limit to the amount of energy you can store.
Chet: At least in my life, I have never found a limit for how much energy that piece of armor can absorb. You should take the next week trying to charge it and after that, I'll send you home.
Jack: Wait, you decide when I go home.
Chet: Yeah, the person who's page you're on controls pretty much everything and if they want you to leave then they can, they can also keep you here as well, but they have a time limit on that.
I spent the next week absorbing as much aura as I could from the things around me and keep charging the armor until it was time to go home. I felt a familiar sensation and the next thing I knew, I was back in my room with the armor in my hand.

Cinder: I felt the presence of a magical artifact of some kind at this school.
Mercury: An artifact? Is it a cause for concern?
Cinder: Depending on what it is, it could destroy our plans completely.
Emerald: Who would have an artifact here anyway? Is it Ozpin?
Cinder: I can't pinpoint its location but I have a feeling that it's not Ozpin. The intel I've gathered already suggests otherwise.
Emerald: You're saying that one of these students is running around with a powerful artifact.
Cinder: Yes, and you guys have to find out who, we can't have this artifact ruining all the preparations I've made.
Mercury: So we have act buddy, buddy with them. How exhausting.
Emerald: Don't worry Cinder, once I've found out who has it, then taking it would be easier than taking candy from a baby.
