บท 34: A dream of a murderous boy named ?????? (5, final)
?????? took the car and left, the man in the car knew this was going to happen and was ordered not to do anything, he wasn't involved with any of this and was just the driver for his friend whom he just saw die. He gladly took ?????? to the train station where he got on and left for the place where he will find the land.
?????? lived in the land, growing, he paid people anonymously to build a small two floor wooden house for him in that place and started to wear a dark grey hoodie and black pants wherever he went, he never showed his face. The house was empty in most rooms, except for some that held basic things that most houses have.
He lived there, alone, his mind half insane. Overtime, he became more and more crazy, started hearing voices in his head, the voices weren't of someone else, they all sounded exactly like him, albeit some of them were slightly different but no huge differences. ?????? kept to himself over the years, made a daily routine, and tried to get a normal rest of his life, however it was all futile.
One day after he got home from his grocery shopping at the end of the week, the moment he closed his front door he fell to his knee's clutching his head tightly. The voices are louder than ever, and they are all screaming the same thing at him, "KILL, KILL, KILL, KILL, IT'S FUN TO KILL SO COME ON, START TO KILL!"
He knew they were right, he remembers that feeling he had when his first killed that man all those years ago, but he doesn't want to ruin his wonderful life, if he gets caught then its all over. The voices continue but say something different now "COME ON ITS ALRIGHT, YOU WON'T GET CAUGHT, JUST KILL, AS LONG AS YOUR SMART ABOUT IT YOU WON'T GET CAUGHT!"
Then, it went deathly silent, after a few seconds something like the sound of a large glass pane shattering is heard except it wasn't a real sound, ??????'s mind, has finally, shattered completely, and thus marked the beginning of the murderer who was known as the dark reaper for only killing in darkness, he did assassin jobs as well, it helped him pay for things he needed.
Over the years ?????? got better, and better, he made lots of enemies, was seen in the act quite a bit, and eventually his fate caught up to him, his house was burned due to a angry mob finding out where he lived and burning it to the ground, luckily he escaped with his life, but shortly after a private detective noticed him escaping and started to follow him trying to catch him.
The detective took some shots with his gun but only hit him once in the chest and it didn't bring him down, after he was hit, ?????? entered an abandoned warehouse at the edge of the town he lived next to and as he is running he is shot in the leg by the detective and crawls over to a wall and sits with his back against it.
He coughs out some blood and his breathing gets heavy, the detective then walks up to ?????? and points the gun directly at his forehead. ?????? is at his last breath... his vision seems to be fading in and out...he supposes that the man in front of him was serious and didn't lie when he told him a while ago that he would end him.
The detective speaks up, "Whelp, I told you I would kill you eventually Harold. You may be a skilled assassin, but your not immortal eventually every killer is caught, in the end the good guys always win."
Harold responds to him "Well I guess this is where it ends huh even if I do live on anymore, I will only be hunted down by people looking for revenge. So I take it your going to kill me now and get it over with?" The detective says "Yeah, any last words?" This is Harold's last chance to tell him the most important thing of all, so he opens his mouth and speaks.
"Heh it's to bad, even though you're going to kill me, none of those people that I killed will come back to life. If I had a second Chance at life, I wouldn't, well I probably wouldn't be as evil, who knows maybe I would actually be a nice guy." The detective then speaks up and says his final farewell to Harold "Goodbye Harold I guess your reign of terror is over."
*BANG*
The gun is fired and everything goes black for Harold Dark, the man who was rumored to be a immortal and uncatchable killer and was deemed a reaper of darkness and struck fear into the hearts of many.
The Dark Reaper has met his end and proved his mortality.

Demonlord_KuraiShi And that's what lead us to the beginning of the novel and his new life in another world, don't worry, I wasn't descriptive on the years that passed as he grew up for a reason, its because he literally did nothing, just did a daily routine, woke up, got groceries, ate 3 meals of the day, watched TV or whatever he did for entertainment and then went to sleep, he liked the casual quiet life he was living while he had it.
I did my best to make this origin story fit in and make sense, and hopefully make you learn more about Brine/Harold and why he is more of a villain/killer than a person who tries to protect everyone and be an all around hero.
