Gin shook Bob's hand.
"John has told me about you. I've love to challenge you to a duel."
Gin grinned as he said that.
Bob squeezed Gin's hand hard causing him to wince in pain.
"Still want that duel?"
Gin started rubbing his hand and shook his head.
"That's one killer grip you have there."
"You're the first to say that. What happened to the last pirate crew you were with?"
"Krieg was beaten black and blue, after he ran into this pirate called Luffy. He was injured but no one was willing to help him out due to his personality thus he quit being a pirate. I was sailing my own boat looking for an island to stay on when I ran into John here. Thought I could rob him and his ship, but he was stronger than I thought. Anyways, I ended up joining him."
Gin explained.
Bob looked at John and grinned a little.
"What? There a problem or something?"
"No, you've done great work. I heard about Gin when I was making my way to Drum Island. He's a nice addition to your crew. Anyone else joined you?"
John shook his head.
"Not yet, he's the only one so far. I see you have two new people with you, who are they?"
John already knew the four original crew members that joined Bob, but now he saw two more. Dalton and Kureha.
"This large man here is Dalton, he's a devil fruit user. He'll give you a run for your money. As for this lady, she's a doctor named Kureha. She's working with me on a project, i'll tell you about it later."
Dalton introduced himself to Gin and John. Kureha just did a quick wave of the hand.
"Come, let me see what you've done with the base here."
Bob said.
The building that John was standing in front of was fairly large, much larger than the buildings they obtained before. Bob entered the building and was surprised by what he saw.
It looked like what they had on Vile Island, where it was basically like a bar with bounties on the walls, but there was a pool table here as well. Bob could see some stairs that lead up to the upper floor.
"I took the idea you used in Vile Island and did the same here. The entire first floor is used to entertain people and get them to talk, while also being about business. The second floor is where our operations take place. There are a few rooms up there where our members can sleep and eat, while we also have a room to plan our future out."
John explained.
"Not bad."
Bob started looking at the wall filled with bounty posters.
"I see you've been busy. These are all the pirates?"
"Yeah, the only ones with bounties. I heard about a few upcoming ones but they don't have a bounty on them yet."
Bob looked over at Gin.
"He was talking about a pirate group earlier, are they on this list?"
"The Barbar Pirates. They've been causing a little trouble here, but they are a bit hard to catch due to the fact they have a ship that can sail the sand."
"I see, how much are they worth?"
Bob asked.
"Not much, just ten million beli and thats only for their leader Barbarossa. The other members aren't worth much."
Bob knew about that pirate group, but he didn't expect them to exist here. Afterall they were an anime only pirate group that appeared in One Piece.
"If you find anyone capable amongst their crew you can recruit them."
"Was already planning on it. Much easier to recruit people who already have experience at the sea. Beat them, and absorb some of their numbers. It's not a bad strategy."
"Not bad, but you can't get them all. If you do some will band together and try to overthrow you."
"Don't worry, i've knock some sense into them until they realize its all futile."
Bob laughed and John laughed.
"So, what was it you were talking about over the den-den mushi?"
John asked Bob.
"Oh that. There's going to be a civil war here in a few days, want to know if you want to join in on it. A good way for us to make a name for ourselves, and there will be strong people to go against as well."
"Sure, I don't have much else to do. Lately I've been going after pirates and turning them in. Dick and Larry are turning in the ones we captured earlier this morning, just waiting on them to return."
John said.
"I see. After you finish your business with the Barbar pirates contact me. We'll need to head to another city to get in contact with the rebel leader."
John's eyes grew big.
"You mean we're joining the rebel army? I thought we would side with the king here."
Bob laughed a little.
"Its a bit more complicated than you make it seem. Trust me, this will be good for us."
"If you say so."
Bob thought of something.
"Remember that guy I was telling you about before? The one who I said you should duel. He's here in Alabasta, try and find him. See if you can beat him."
John squeeze Amane.
"I'm up for a challenge as long as he's strong."
"He's pretty strong. I'll be back later, I need to collect some money."
John was interested.
"You captured some pirates?"
"No, I plan on shutting down the casino here in this city. It's run by a crooked man, therefore there's no harm in taking his money. Once he's arrested we'll take over all his businesses."
"Sounds fun, why don't you let me join in?"
"No way man! You can have all the pirates."
"Fine! You said it, not me."
Bob didn't feel like he'll regret his words.
"Oh yeah, take Kureha with you. If she finds a building she likes, buy it for her."
"I don't mind doing that, but what do you need another building for?"
"It's a project we are working on. Going to open a hospital here, but like I said i'll tell you about it later."
John rolled his eyes.
"Alright, whatever you say."
Bob left the building with Dalton and the others.
"Faceless, how do you plan on robbing the casino?"
Dalton asked.
"Go inside, throw everyone out beat up any who oppose. Take all their money. They are deeply embedded here in Alabasta so they might not have all their money at the casino, but whatever is there we will take."
"That would draw their attention to us. They'll want their money back."
Bob shrugged.
"They can come get it then, but they have other problems to worry about."
Bob looked at the building off in the distance. It was a pyramid-like structure with a golden bananawani at the top. That was the casino.
Rainbase city had a large population that casino was bringing in tons of money a day. Bob didn't know how much exactly, but he hoped it would be enough for him.
Bob led his crew towards the Casino where people were constantly entering.
"Are we going to put on our mask?"
Luna asked.
Bob shook his head.
"No need."
