บท 33: Chapter 32: "Escaping Plan(Words- Chose Wisely.)

"Are you sure?" I asked, climbing side by side.

"Yes!"

I nodded and closed my half eyes as the sun hit on me.

"Wait!—Did I say Prachi and Aryan?" she asked, confusingly.

"Hmm."

She smirked and said, "Harini, not me."

I walked, nodding her words without uttering a single word as I was thinking about the words Harini said. All I wanted to know why she lied that she still has feelings for me even after committed to someone.

"What was her thing to hide small things?"

"--And small things make a difference in life!"

We held arms in arms, and she leaned her face on my shoulder and said, "If our life will remain like this, then I don't think anyone can separate us."

Her words just spoil me entirely being stubborn for that one day. I was talking myself as if there was me in my mind, standing in front of me.

"Regrets are small things to hide from our loved ones."

"Why in the world she never asked me about staying with Harini?"

The more I think about Prachi, the more I regret the day, Harini and I had sex. Even if I had enough courage, I couldn't face the truth.

"You told me that you wanted to have a talk, what is about?" she asked.

We were in halfway to the top of the hill. She sat on the nearby rock, with the help of my hands as it had a high slope and took a water bottle from her handbag.

She gestured humming.

"No, I don't need!" I gestured.

She gulped the water and corrected, "I was talking about what you wanted to say last night in the car!"

"What's—" I remembered and paused.

I kept my arm on her shoulder, pulling her up, "I love you!" I smiled.

She blushed, and we started climbing up again.

"You muttered something!" I said as I heard her saying something.

"I didn't," she turned her face away.

I turned her face with my fingers towards me, forcefully and asked, "Tell me!"

She kissed me on the lips and blushed, "Me too!"

My tears were about to roll out from the eyes because of the love she showed, is one of the most precious things I could get from anyone, and I slept with Harini.

"How stupid I am!"

I hated myself for that holy mistake. The sin, I should've never done by any means of possible. Her spreading cheeks, every time she looks at me, makes me regret till the end of the ocean. I didn't want to do anything that could take her away from me. Maybe if I hid this truth, nothing would happen between us. As she is already not liking her, staying with me, if she hears this, then she will kill me.

Even if I was beside her, I wasn't there.

Finally, we reached the destination and stood facing each other.

"Huh—I am--"

Before I say something, Bhargav shouts my name. "Hey, Raghav!"

He was quite a distance from us as we were hearing echo voices.

"Come here!" he said.

While we were walking towards him, we saw a couple, romancing under the rocks.

When I looked at her with an open smile, she hit my head and said, "I'm not going to do this here!"

"Don't look at me," she turned my face, straight.

"Should I tell her?"

"I'm sorry—Ragh," she lowered her voice, looking down.

"There is a friend I have, who proposed to me at the same time as you!"

"Jayesh?" I asked.

"—And—" she looked at me and said, "He asked me for friendship."

With an instant, she cleared before my thoughts starts uprooting, "But, I denied him."

"Good!"

"Then he requested me for hours," she chuckled.

That smile made me feel as if she accepted him at last.

"So what?" I annoyed.

"Don't accept him!"

She ignored my words and continued, "Finally, I said yes!"

"Why are you blushing?" I asked, lowering my brows.

"I'm not!" she clarified.

"Don't talk to him, ok? Do you even understanding what I am saying?" I questioned.

"Jealous, Baby?" she played with my hair.

"Nothing will happen like what you are thinking!" she smiled.

"No, there is no point for being jealousy. You are not understanding that he will propose you once again—"

"And the things aren't same as then!"

"He is my childhood friend, Ragh!" she said, angrily.

"Ah! From when?" I asked as I knew her answer.

"From the day you proposed."

"No, talking! That's it!"

"I will talk," she stopped walking, suddenly.

I looked behind at her.

"I said no! That means NO," I cleared.

She looked at me furiously, and said, "You can't tell me what friends I should make, ok?"

"This is my life!"

"But if he proposes you, what will you do?"

"He won't!"

"By looking at you, I feel like you drew him close to you!"

She stood answering her silence.

"Ragh," she lowered her voice and asked, "Do you really think I'm that cheap?"

"Wtf! What did I just say?"

She continued, "Why are you living with Harini?"

"Answer me—" she continued, folding her hands.

The wind blew from the west, and the clouds stopped moving. Suddenly, the atmosphere also favoured her.

"Now, the mistakes started falling from my side."

"Trust is a must in this phase of love!—When I didn't say any word even after you are living with a girl whom you once loved—" she said and pointed her last line, "ONCE LOVED!"

"—And I just said YES for talking, and you have a problem with that!"

"Ok!" I went to her.

As I held my hands on her arms, she pushed me away and shouted at me to not to touch her. The couple stopped their romance and stared at us.

"Is everything alright?" Bhargav interrupted.

At that moment, the silence has grown between us.

"Harini, when did you come here?" Bhargav said, looking at a girl standing behind us.

"Harini?"

Prachi left me no words to speak as Harini heard the argument.

We both looked at each other. I saw Aryan beside Harini, had a confusing face.

"Harini!" I called, lowering my voice.

As I started walking towards her, she turned around and going back to the ground.

I followed, calling her name, "Harini, wait!"

"It's nothing like that! She asked me that question, casually."

"Ragh!" Prachi called.

"What? Did you see that? Harini's leaving, Prachi. Go and bring her back."

"I swear that I'll tell you the reason behind this!"

"If you want her in your life, then go, and if me, then stay!" she said.

"I'll leave," said Aryan, running towards her.

My every step to the Prachi, shutting the door in my life for Harini, permanently.

"Sorry, Harini. I don't want to lose Prachi!"

"Prachi!" I whispered with a teary-eyed.

She turned around and started walking to the place where Bhargav asked to come.

If she had done this things before, nothing I would regret like today.
