บท 539: Miss Chang, what are you doing?

Lexi chuckled as she somehow could hear Avah Tong's curses and hateful remarks to her. Well, it was not that she necessarily need to meet the woman. 

If anything, she didn't want to see Avah Tong anymore. However, since Lexi assumed that she was being watched from afar, having Avah Tong be caught seeing her would raise awareness of their enemies action. 

After all, Avah Tong still knew a thing or two in the Lu Corporation — especially since she was once Dennis Lu's woman, she knew who are the people scheming with the said man. Therefore, this meeting would lead them to think twice of their action. 

Since they couldn't just mindlessly make a move, that would lead her and Ethan Lu to be a step ahead of them. Despite its cons, its pros were worthy to take the gamble. 

"Who would have thought she would be useful in other ways too?" Lexi chuckled as she shook her head. Well, not that she was to complain about it.
