บท 17: Siblings
Suna—Lilith, rather, was bathing under the moonlight of top of the rotting building. It's been a almost a month when everything came back to her when she came out of that black shadow, but she couldn't understand everything yet. Why is she hidden from her father? Why did her mother do that? Did she do that because her father wanted to hurt her? What if—
Questions suddenly ceased inside Lilith's head upon hearing someone saying her name. In a split second she was inside a dark red sphere, ranging only from where she was to 10 m away.
"Well, well, well, already father's favourite aren't you? Suna?"
Her eyes widened hearing her long forgotten name again. A slender figure of a man appeared not to far from her. He was wearing a sleeveless dirty white coat with and a black turtleneck underneath. He wore it with the same colored fitted pants and boots. The small heels resounded as the man walked closer to where she was.
"Who are you?" Lilith asked indifferently.
The person scoffed. "Really, Suna? Who am I? How could you not know me? When I have known you the very second I can think?" He clicked his tongue and glared at Lilith.
There was still no emotions in her eyes, not a glimmer seen. In a flash, the man came straight at her with a dagger, but in terms of speed, Lilith is also formidable. She blocked it on time with her
rose whip. "Book of Bind : Moonlight Cage" Suna said but unfortunately it didn't have any effect. The person laughed and put down his dagger.
He stood in front of Lilith and threw a powerful punch at her. Lilith wanted to dodge but she was curious on how this person would feel after hitting her. And just as she thought, the barrier disappeared when she flew into the air. She landed safely without any scratch and the man was held onto place.
"Moonlight Cage doesn't deactivate as long as you're shone by that" she pointed at the Moon. The man clicked his tongue.
"I almost won. No wonder father likes you" He sulked.
"Who are you?" Lilith asked. The person sneered and tried to break out of her ability. She was curious again and cancelled her nen ability, the guy instantly dashed to her with killing intent and she snapped.
She disappeared from her spot and appeared on top of the guy's figure. She stepped on his body and slammed it on the roof, crumbling the already ruined building. With a loud sound, they landed in front of Chrollo and the others.
"I'm h-home father" the guy said to Chrollo with an awkward smile followed by a groan. Lilith didn't budge from her place and bowed to Chrollo.
"I see you've been playing around again Samael" Chrollo started and signaled Lilith to step off him. "You've met" he followed and the guy dusted himself off as he stood up and bowed.
"Who is he father? I don't know him" Lilith said plainly and looked at the guy. He had the same hair color as her and his eyes were also the same as Lilith.
"He's Samael Lucilfer," Chrollo answered "Your brother"
The guy looked at her and placed his hand on top of her head. "So nice meeting you Suna". Again Lilith's chest was filled with unexplained emotions hearing her past name again. And what did he say? Sister?
They're siblings?
