Suna locked herself up in a room for a day. Not eating, not even speaking to her mother, she was just like a lifeless doll wearing her white lolita dress, sitting in a corner of her room. Her eyes remained blank as she stared into empty space. Maybe a lot of you would think that the only reason she's like this is because of what she did to Killua, but the truth is, it's not just that. The tips of her ebony hair has been changing color from black to red, ever since she came home.
Akumi, her mother's powers has been slowly weakening. Her abilities eats away her life slowly or quickly as she uses nen to create a deal with someone stronger than her, and the irony is that her mother has to keep using nen to protect her from her father, Chrollo. And he's far more stronger than Akumi. Suna's memories from when she was 5 years old was sealed to keep her from knowing what she did in her younger years. But it's one the verge of being known by Suna.
A call came from Netero and Suna slowly looked at her cellphone ringing. She picked it up and put it on speaker without making any sound.
"Suna-chan?..... The exam was finished and we just gave out the passing applicants their hunter license. I don't know if you know already but after you forfeited, Killua killed someone." Suna's eyes regained life hearing Killua's name, but quickly reverted back to blank. "He's disqualified and he went back home. But the three other rookies you are friends with passed. Gon, Kurapika and Leorio right? I hope you're doing fine Suna-chan. I heard from Umi-chan what's happening, if there's anything you'd like me to do I will, for my precious granddaughter. That is all. Take care of yourself Suna-chan"
Netero ended the call and Suna stood up, her hair still changing from black and red. She walked to her bedridden mother's room and looked at her. She held her hand as she sat beside her.
"Suna? I have been working hard to protect you but it seems it is mother's time to go don't you think? Please take care of yourself my daughter. Stay in your grandfather's side when I'm gone—"
Akumi was smiling when Suna cut her off.
"Don't bid me farewell mother. You still tons of time left, and I promise I will return to you. For now, lay down your burdens" Suna spoke and held her mother's hands tightly with a smile "Book of Null : Cancel" Suna recited and with the sound of a broken metal, her mother's eyes widened.
Suna's hair quickly changed to red and a black shadow swallowed her from behind, leaving only her clothes on the floor beside her mother's bed. Akumi didn't have time to scream or even hold on to Suna. All she could do was watch and weap as her daughter slipped away from her fingers.

In a dark abandoned place, a figure of a man sat in the middle. A shadow appeared in front of him as Suna got out wearing a black tight dress along with red boots, her crimson hair glistening as moonlight shone upon her.
"Welcome home, Lilith"
"Yes, father"
