Talsia looked a Jake with confusion why had she been teleported by Calvis. From what she could tell she was still in his pocket dimension but Calvis's pocket dimension was large, bigger than the star her planet used to orbit around. The confusion soon turned to fear as she was pulled into a sprint by Jake.
The monster following them had to be large because how else would it be possible to cause such vibration. As Talsia heard the sounds of it roars grow further from her she saw the man that had pulled her into sprint pull out a tool that she had never seen before. The tool made quick work of the dirt under a tree and had made a decently sized ovular shelter under the tree even somehow solidifying the soil before returning to the man standing beside her.
As Jake pulled Talsia into the shelter she was both surprised and startled by his appearance that she noticed when he faced her. The man was handsome with red hair, green eyes, tan skin, and dagger-shaped eyebrows. While the man did not possess the almost ethereal beauty or attractive danger that Calvis had, he seemed more down to earth and approachable.
The man said something in a tongue that she could not understand.
Looking at his face she was able to determine his intended question and pointed to herself and said, "Talsia"

Jake hearing state her name so simply instantly understood the problem. Taking out the device from before he changed it into a different model. It changed into a circular device with a trigger before the Nafrite named Talsia could do anything. Jake held the device to her neck and pressed the trigger.
The Nafrite was afraid and tried to move away for but a second before understanding appeared on her face that she had been injected with a knowledge chip. Jake knew chips like this had been developed by other races in this Galaxy but it was very expensive to make properly and only the most elite could hope to attain. The Xuhan race was obviously many tiers above the rest of this Galactic civilization and so completed such item easily.
Jake looked at the Nafrite Girl for the first time inspecting for injuries that could impede their progress. The Nafrite girl had a physiology that seemed to be very similar to a normal human with small differences some being her bow-legged feet, a tail, and extremely large orange pupils. Talsia's body was small with an hourglass shape that was attractive despite her alien nature. Her tail was 3 and a half feet long with black scales and it remained still behind her back since he had first seen her.
Jake, ignoring his attraction to the Nafrite, quickly told her, " My name is Jake. You wouldn't happen to know where we are or what thing is chasing us?"
Jake knew that it wasn't likely that she knew anything but the first rule of survival is to use all your resources and so that is what he decided to do.
"We are in a pocket world created by the supreme Elder Calvis, and I have no idea what that thing was," the Nafrite girl said with a straight face.
Jake looked at her in shock but only took two seconds to get over it and decided to test if this was true. Jake took the tool he had used twice before and changed it into a scanner meant to locate his position in the universe. When the scanner found that there was only a very large space surrounded by an empty void he quickly accept this reality.
Jake looked at the Nafrite girl who was startled at his reaction but then showed disappointment on her face when he didn't simply believe what she said was true.
Jake didn't know this girl and had no reason to trust her and so saw no obligation to even try and comfort her, but what he didn't want was to have a bad relationship with the only other person that was stuck with him in this crappy situation.
"Sorry I didn't believe you," Jake said half-heartedly as he was already working out a solution to this situation.
Looking at the variables he saw that this had to be a test. The Parthian that had broken through his Technoworld's shield was powerful enough to snap him out of existence. There was no reason to make him suffer being eaten by one of his monsters. Jake thought that there was a good 60% chance this was a test the other 40% could, be that the Parthian simply saw this as entertainment.
