บท 1: A Noble Knight
Alone in a marble chapel consecrated to the Lord of Light, the divine guardian of the Land of Dawn, a young knight wearing a whole intimidating set of armor that's constructed with gold and steel along with a long flowing purple velvet cape with golden embroidery can be seen kneeling in front of the altar, praying.
This young knight happens to be not just any other knight that swore to protect the Moniyan Empire whose dominion had spread throughout the Land of Dawn. He is none other than the mighty Tigreal, Captain of the Knight's Order.
Being a devout believer in the Lord of Light as well as a valiant knight who would spend hours training in order to perfect his skills, Tigreal's prowess in battle was lauded by his mentors thus earning him the title of Captain. During battles, he would always be seen in the front line, ready to defend his fellow knights from the raging hordes of the opposing army.
As he fervently reflected on the greatness of the Lord of Light, with his sword plunged on the ground, Tigreal suddenly received a vision. A vision that would change his life, as well as the history of the Land of Dawn. The vision showed an army of terrifying beings, as well as a woman with blood red wings like those of a bat, flowing white hair and a pair of long, black horns protruding from her forehead.
She was flanked by other beings, all humanoid in appearance but their characteristics appear to be corrupted by evil. Could they be her allies? The vision continues with the woman flashing a vile smile as she unleashes a malefic laugh that filled Tigreal's psyche with dread.
"What could this be?" Tigreal humbly questioned the Lord of Light. The latter's visions are never wrong so this can't be a dream nor hallucinations. A deep and powerful voice then echoed throughout the chapel, which only Tigreal can hear, saying:
"A great evil has been unleashed by my archenemy, the Lord of the Abyss. He decides to wreak havoc upon the Land of Dawn by sending hordes of vile, corrupt warriors led by his demonic champion, the blood queen Alice in order to turn everything to darkness.
Knowing that she cannot serve his diabolical cause by herself, Alice united some of the land's most evil heroes, most of them she had seduced and corrupted. You must take up arms against these forces of darkness, lest the Land of Dawn shall never see the brightness of day."
"I admit that I can't defeat Alice and her army by myself." Tigreal replied, slightly bowing his head as a gesture of humility before the Lord of Light.
"You shall seek for other heroes who are willing to help you defeat Alice. There are many other heroes with extraordinary abilities that will join your cause, provided that you will be establishing the bonds of friendship and unity between them and yourself." Said the Lord of Light.
"I shall do what you wish of me. I will do whatever it takes to protect the Land of Dawn, even if it costs my life." And so the vision ends after Tigreal had said these words. Getting up from his previously kneeling posture, Tigreal takes his sword and leaves the chapel.
