บท 12: Akira Abe
Bia couldn't sleep so she reached for the book on the side table. Akira knows that she loves to read romance novel so he put a few novels there on purpose.
Akira Abe, the guy who broke the barrier that she built after Grant left her. She thought she will stay single for a lifetime. She couldn't remember when was her first time meeting Akira, she didn't know that Akira was her doctor , she didn't care about anything last time. After sometimes she just thought Akira was just a friend of Alex who kept appearing in front of her not the doctor who saved her. She only knew his name about two years ago. He was a stranger who were shameless enough to come and talked to her every day.
Yup, that shameless stranger was trying to sleep but he was too excited to sleep, he was so happy having Bia in his house. This is the first time that Bia agree to be in his house for more than an hour. He was on the cloud, he was grinning from ear to ear. He stared at the ceiling and thinking back about the day when he first saw her. It was about five years ago when he visited the Pearl Island. He came to the island for his friend's wedding. The day before the wedding, he went for a tour around the island with a few of his friends. Their last stop was the beach. It's a beautiful beach, sandy white sand, blue water and a beautiful girl was playing the guitar. He couldn't hear the music that she played because he was standing too far from her but he could see her smile on her face. She was sitting on a rock surrounded by children. The children were clapping and dancing through the music. Akira walked closer to them then he could hear the children were singing one of Westlife song "My love" and a few other songs but he didn't hear anything after the first song because he was too focused on her. Her sweet smile, her sweet voice, her dark eyes, her brown hair and everything about her, for him she looked perfect. What a beautiful picture that will stay in his heart forever. Suddenly she looked up and smiled at his direction, he thought she was smiling at him but her eyes were not looking at him, when he tried to turn around to see who she was looking at, suddenly at that moment his phone was ringing and he quickly answered it. After he finished the call he tried to look for her but she was nowhere to be seen, only the children were left. He was so disappointed with the phone call. He tried to search for her again so he went to the same beach for a few times before he left the Island but still he couldn't find her.
Like people say 'Time Fly', after a year Akira was back on the Island, it was four years ago to be exact.
He still remembered the girl on the beach, he couldn't erase her from his head. How stupid he was, he didn't even know her name or anything about her.
The second time Akira met her again was when she was trying to chase a car or someone in that car. He didn't know why he was chasing her as well, his feet just moved forward, he didn't know she was the girl he's been dreaming about, he could only see her back. He was yelling at her at the top of his lungs, he was telling her to look at the oncoming truck on her right but she didn't hear him. He was running behind her so fast and tried to pull her to stop her. He managed to pull away from the main road but she was struggling and pushing him down made them fall on the ground. When she was trying to get up, she lost her balance. Before Akira could catch her she fell down and knocked her head on the pavement and lost her consciousness. Everything happened so fast then he saw her head started to bleed and there was blood on her legs too. Akira got up and called the ambulance the moment he was properly seeing her face, he was so shocked to see the face that occupied his mind for a year was in front of him. He tried not to move her, he just check her pulse, took out his clean handkerchief and put pressure on her head to stop the bleeding. He was praying that she'll be fine.
