"Is everything alright Isa? You look worried!" Jacob frowned studying the girl's face.
Isa looked up suddenly, as if comimg out of a trance. "Huh? Oh Yeah! I am fine. It is my mother. She wants me to be home today. I think we will have to postpone the dinner to tomorrow." Isa lied, looking at Jacob helplessly.
"Ohh!" Jacob's uplifted spirits suddenly crashed drastically and he pursed his lips. "Ohk! No problem! We can meet tomorrow night!"
Isa looked at the sad boy and she felt guilty for cancelling the dinner at the last moment. "Or maybe, we have another option!"
Jacob looked up, his eyes twinkling again. "What?"
"We can meet a little late in evening! How about 9:00. I can straight away come to the club!" Isa smiled, looking at the boy.
"That's perfect!" Jacob grinned, feeling relaxed.
Isa smiled back at him, and picked up her sandwich. She did not want to tell the boy that she was upset over something. He himself was currently in an extremely vulnerable state.
