บท 69: The suprise
Jung Kook's POV
I decided to call Lilac so that I could hang out with her alone. I really just wanna hang out with her without any distraction.
"Hey Lilac." I said.
"Hey Jung Kook." Lilac replied.
"Are you free today?" I asked.
"No sorry. I have work to do and I'm a bit tired." Lilac said.
"Oh I see. Then nevermind. We could go out on another day." I said.
"Ok. Bye." Lilac said.
"Bye." I said in a disappointing tone without her realizing it.
Haihh no one to hang out with. Everyone is busy doing their own stuff and no one is free to play or hangout with me. I'm so bored. Suddenly I got an idea of what to do. Since Nam Joon hyung had given me a task, this would be a perfect time to do it. I took out my laptop from my laptop bag and turn it on. When I found the page that I need, I start working on what I'm supposed to do. I didn't know how long had I been doing that thing until Jimin hyung called me.
"Hello hyung what is it?" I asked.
"JK I just wanna tell you that tonight we are all going out for dinner to celebrate Jin hyung's birthday. It will be at XXXX at 7 p.m." Jimin hyung replied.
"Oh. So what time am I supposed to be there?" I asked.
"Try to be there by 6:30. You have one hour left." Jimin hyung said.
"Ok. I'll try." I said and hanged up the call.
No wonder everyone had been busy today. I forgotten that today is Jin hyung's birthday. I had already bought him a present but I think I would need to give it to him late again this year because there was some problem with shipping the item. One of the reason I hated online shopping it's because of this. Some people is just so irresponsible especially this seller because I've ordered this thing for almost one month already and he just told me yesterday. It really makes me so angry just thinking about it.
I stood up after shutting down my laptop to get ready. I took about 30 minutes to get ready and I have another 20 minutes left to arrive at the location. I took my car keys and left the house. I reach at exactly 6:30 at the location stated. I walked into the restaurant and told the waitress to bring me to the room that we had reserved. When I went inside, the rest of the hyungs are all there already except Jin hyung. I walked towards Jimin hyung to ask him where is Jin hyung.
"Kookie you're finally here. Come and help me decorate this place." Jimin hyung said.
"Umm hyung Where's Jin hyung?" I asked.
"Oh he'll be coming with Se Jin hyung later." Jimin hyung replied.
"Oh I see." I replied.
"Come we don't have enough time. Quickly help me." Jimin hyung said and pass me the balloon.
"Alright calm down hyung. We still have about 20 minutes to prepare." I said.
Jimin hyung ignored what I've said and continue doing his work. Seeing him so passionate about making things perfect I decided to work faster so that he wouldn't stressed himself out. All of us manage to finish the decoration in 15 minutes time. We walk out of the room into a room that have no decoration and only chairs and table. When Jin hyung arrived, we sat down and eat our dinner while talking about what had happened today. I noticed that Jin hyung look down. Probably it's because none of us wished him yet.
