On the fifth day morning, Mu Qing Lang came out from the Carriage of Immortality with a pot filled with soybeans inside. While it was somewhat tasteless, they're still counted as one of the staple food flourished on this Chang Emperor Prairie.
Furthermore, there's more to be done using the Mingwen Soybean. With the rich experience as a Data-Entry Worker in his previous life, Mu Qing Lang can be said to be an expert when it comes to theoretical knowledge and basics.
They will be starting to plant the seeds to grow the Chang-Er Bronze Wheat and Mingwen Soybean in the seventh day. By depending on the Wheat and Soybean Harvesting Team, their available stock of plantable seeds is prepared more than a thirteen members camp can handle.
And today would be the last batch of 50 seeds is planted, where their harvesting period is expected to be at the morning of his seventh day. Other than planting the third batch of 50 Xian-Ren Grass, the camp also harvested their third 10 plants plot and the first 50 plants plot. Not to forget, there's a batch of Prairie Herbal-Cress too.
In total, Mu Qing Lang and his team of twelve goblins harvested 120 stalks of Xian-Ren Grass, with 300 seeds in hand, alongside with 300gm of Herbal-Cress from their first harvest. Because the seeds they produce only enough for another cubic square of a meter, his expectation for the next yield will be about 600gm.
But this did not cause Mu Qing Lang to feel disappointed. In fact, he's thankful for their limited speed of growth, as he might face the issue with limited working-force available to put the output of his farm to their best performance.
Furthermore, Herbal-Cress multiplies each time they mature. From 1 to 2, 2 to 4, and more, it may only need him about 5 harvests to reach 32 square cubic meters. Five more yields later, it would become 1,024 square cubic meters of Herbal-Cress, more than what he can sustain with the workforce of twelve goblins.
After the morning harvest, the four teams of goblin continue with their day to day responsibilities. Searching for wheat and soybeans, collecting the straws and building the barricade, fetching water and managing the plant, their day to day work is filled to the brim.
As for himself, Mu Qing Lang decided to take Xiao Hui and the Carriage of Immortality out for a walk. He treats it as a random visit around his camp, and at the same time, searching for the remaining staple food plant in this area along with four other medical herbs that only grow in Chang Emperor Prairie.
Unfortunately, his first exploration did not end too well.
Exploring about five kilometers further from his first camp, Mu Qing Lang found nothing else other than the Chang-Er Bronze Wheat and weeds growing up to his eye-level. This location seems to be left untouched for quite a long time.
But at the same time, Mu Qing Lang stumbles across some relics that been left here for quite some time. Surprisingly, he can read what was engraved on a larger piece of a slab, where it looks almost identical to a third of a Praying Altar.
[Moonlight shines...]
-
[Eternal night comes...]
-
[Respect the lake of...]
-
[Obtain the bless...]
-
The engraving might carry some meaning behind it.
Without any clue is left around him, Mu Qing Lang can only choose to leave this area. But he did not want to lost track of the historical records related to this world. After considering what he can do, Mu Qing Lang started to tidy the shrine slightly and leave a few markers for him to return without any trouble.
All he did other than trimming the weeds is collecting some crystal stones to be scanned using the Information Table.
He followed his previous track and returned to the camp in the evening. To rewards the goblins for their hard work, Mu Qing Lang taught them how to enjoy the Xian-Ren Grass. While the effectiveness of a raw Xian-Ren Grass cannot be compared with the Recovery Ointment or Small Xian Pill, eating the occasionally still bring benefits to the body.
Especially to the goblins that depend on their level of adaption and growth, having a stronger and healthier body almost guaranteed them to evolve into one of the three variants.
The Strong Hobgoblins, the smart Goblin Leader, and the efficient Goblin Gatherer. As the choices weren't on their own, some avid worker may grow into a hobgoblin instead of a Goblin Gatherer. Sometimes, some might be so unlucky that they only managed to evolve into Dark Goblin, a failure product created to give the dying goblins their last chance.
Most of them only have between ten to fifteen years to live, and unless they promoted into the evolution of a Dark Goblin Warrior, that's all their life worth.
The twelve goblins cheered as they were blessed by their employer's blessing. Enjoying a proper quality food like such not only motivates them to work harder, it increases their morale and loyalty, making the goblins willingly handover everything they found without hiding them out of greed.
Of course, perhaps the most valuable item worth raising in this prairie is nothing else other than the shiny pebbles Mu Qing Lang found on his journey. And to make sure that they're worth the effort, Mu Qing Lang can't wait to scan them through the Information Table.
After deducting the twelve Xian-Ren Grass that was given to the goblins, Mu Qing Lang stored the remaining 98 stalks into the chest and added two more from his kitchen. The stack is then converted into ten units of Recovery Ointment, and five Small Xian Pills.
Next, he sat on the table alongside fifteen shiny pebbles in his hand. It took roughly a minute for the Information table to give him some information, where one of them make all his effort worthy of mentioning.
[*Sodium Deposit Crystal*]
[*Basic Prairie Rock*]
[*Spiritual Agate Pebble*]
"I should put the best surprise last. Let's see what is inside the Basic Prairie Rock first..." Mu Qing Lang tapped on the middle option first, where he has the least expectation on them.

Basic Prairie Rock [Common]
Evaluation: Just a Rock
-
Information: A commonly found rock everywhere within the Chang Emperor Prairie. Unless procesed with different tool, this rock have no other usage except disturbance.

"It's really is trash!!!" filled with anger, he dumps seven of them out of the carriage. After cooling himself a little, Mu Qing Lang continued with the two remaining choices.

Sodium Deposit Crystal [Unranked]
Evaluation: An edible source of sodium/salt.
-
Information: commonly found all over the Chang Emperor Prairie. This material have multiple usable quality in the food and chemical industry.

"And that's my first supply of salt. To find something like this without having to live beside the sea can be said to be a blessing. Now let's not delay the time any further and check the last item on the list." Mu Qing Lang took out one of the seven Sodium Deposit Crystals and gave it a lick.
It does taste like salt, although there's a hint of something weird.

A Spiritual Agate followed the Natural Law of Spiritual Palace, hence capable of expanding their layering without external assistance. The quality of this Agate Pebble is too low to be graded but has great potential.

"That's quite an amazing feat for a gemstone like this. If I'm lucky to found four additional Agates, the cultivation experience they gave me can replace what was provided by the Small Xian Pill!" Mu Qing Lang picks the last piece of shiny pebble out and stares at it.
"I'll keep you in my pocket to give me the benefits wherever I go." Mu Qing Lang placed the Spiritual Agate Pebble into the inner pocket on his robe and head to his bed. Of course, he took a Small Xian Pill before that.
His fifth day night went on without anything to be worried about. The second Small Xian Pill he took brought his experience point to 20/1,000, which can be said to be just 2% filled. But what he did not realize is while he's facing this kind of difficulty to try leveling up himself, it wasn't the same issue with the goblins.
Perhaps the heavy workload, proper meals, and protected environment, among the twelve goblins that surrounded the carriage as they rest, Xiao Qing is the quickest one to evolve. Under the supervision from the moonlight, his body starts growing, with multiple changes happening on his body.
It should be a surprise for Mu Qing Lang, the next morning when he wakes up.
