บท 5: Chapter 5 : Sweet Water Fish Always Pee
The large, leathery hand grabbed the man by the collar and began dragging him across the muddy floor, it was a lizard man, he had large black scales on his shoulders and forehead, large claw-like feet and a tail.
"Listen, this has got to be some misunderstanding!" The man stuttered out.
"This is no misunderstanding, foul pervert!" The lizardman scoffed.
"Pervert?! no, you must have me confused with someone else!" The man replied.
"Lies! you ran into our village, screaming like a mad man then you just grabbed a helpless girl's loincloth!" the lizard man said, trying to control his rage.
The man taught back to when he grabbed the "hanging object",
"Oh, so that's what it was..." the man said, somewhat ashamed but also panicked.
"Don't play dumb, and stay quiet! we're about to have you cut down for your crimes " the lizard man said with a grin.
"you're about to meet our chieftain." the lizard man added.
As the lizardman reaches the wooden hut, he tossed the man inside, then goes inside followed by two, slightly smaller lizard men who were previously guarding the hut.
The man quickly recovered from his fall and stood up, he looked around the room, only to be faced by the same three lizardmen at the door and an older, hunched over lizard man, sitting on a makeshift throne of leaves and sticks.
"This is the perverted human, we trust rasel already told you about him, chief." the large lizard man said, bowing slightly.
"Ah..yes.. lad, I believe you have some explaining to do.." the chieftain said with his weak old voice.
บท 6: Chapter 6 : Scale Polish For Wind In Hair
The old lizard man took in a deep breath and sighed.
"I think I understand, so you got yourself cursed..." the chieftain said.
"Exactly, I didn't mean to insult your people." the man assured
The old lizard man stood up slowly and walked over to the now sitting man,
he put an arm on his shoulder, "Nevertheless, we can't leave your crimes unpunished." the chieftain solemnly said.
The man gulped, images flashed through his head, the gallows, a pit of snakes, that damn barrel.
"I sentence you to..." the lizard man began.
The man is sweating intensively at this point.
"A month of community service." the chieftain said.
One of the smaller lizard men got closer and began to speak, "Chief, aren't you being too lenient?!"
Another one interrupted, "Yes, this is just another attack from the humans!"
The massive, black scaled lizard man spoke up,
"Silence! you will only obey the chieftain's order!" the muscular figure roared.
The chieftain turned his withering gaze towards the smaller lizard man, "The look in his eyes seems genuine, I ask you as the leader of these people, please trust my judgment." The old man began to bow but was stopped by the figure sitting in the corner of the room unnoticed.
"Please dear, there is no need to be reckless, people your age shouldn't be moving so much!" an equally old lizard woman said.
The large lizard man ordered the two smaller ones to take the man away.
The man was taken through the village of suspicious stares to a small one-room house built into the side of a small cliff, the features that stood out were the small planter boxes in the front, a very large round window, an empty birdcage.
"This looks more like a luxury cottage than a prison cell..." the man commented.
The smaller lizard man chuckled and put a hand on the man's shoulder.
"Don't think of yourself as a prisoner, rather a forced citizen, sorry about what I said earlier, we've been a little on edge since the last human raid." the lizard man spoke,
"By the way, my name's Razyl, feel free to ask me anything," Razyl added
"Thanks, I guess, I think I'll go to bed, for now, I think tomorrow will be pretty eventful." the man said.
The two exchanged their farewells and parted ways.
