บท 290: What was lost, and what was found

Confused at why his grandfather had suddenly logged off again, Benji also followed his example and went to swiftly log off to see what was going on. He jumped out of his capsule and sprinted toward the old man's bedroom, seeing that his Father was sitting down on the floor, leaning against the wall in the hallway, and when Benji stepped inside, he couldn't believe his eyes.

"What… the hell… is going on..?" He asked confused, staring at the scene in front of him, of Sophia standing in front of Benjamin's capsule crying while the old man was laying inside of it, looking as if he literally merged with the, highly modified, capsule through numerous cables and tubes. And the worst of it all was one thing.

Benji wasn't sure if he was hallucinating, or if he was really seeing the truth of what was going on. Either way, he was horrified.
