The woman opened her eyes and found herself inside a white room with the odor of disinfectant stinging her nose. After regaining her composure, her face suddenly showed a hint of panic as she shifted her gaze to her surroundings.

Then when she saw the familiar face of a small figure lying on the other bed on her side, she heaves a heavy sigh of relief.
