บท 77: Oppressive Will
Perhaps, it was due to her rather naive nature but June believed Raven was a 'good' person. She knew Raven was the leader of a bandit tribe but she firmly believed that there was good in her heart.
Magna, on the other, didn't know what to think. He hasn't known her that long and he doesn't know much about her besides the fact that she was Yang's mother.
He also thought she was super fucking hot but this was something Magna would take to his grave. He didn't need Yang trying to kill him if she ever learned that he found her mother hot.
Anyway, since Raven was currently unconscious as her aura tried, and failed, to heal her bruised cheek, the pair decided to set up camp and wait for her to wake up.
Obviously, they didn't have that much food left, especially since June was a well known glutton but Magna had it covered.
He quickly caught and skinned a couple rabbits and birds. While hanging them to bleed, Magna silently thanked Argo and Luna for teaching him how to skin and gut the game he caught.
It was a long and slightly traumatising journey for him but it was necessary. Huntsmen were usually out in the field for months.
That meant no towns, no restaurants, only the land beneath. It was crucial that huntsmen and huntresses learned to live off the land
After reciting the short prayer Argo and Luna taught him, Magna glanced over at June and smiled. June was quietly watching over Raven as she practiced her magic.
Small orbs of fire and wind floated next to her as she hummed while taking care of Raven. Fire and wind were the elements she had the most trouble with.
Occasionally, the fire orb would 'pop' into a cloud of smoke, signaling that the spell broke. The same thing happened with the wind orb yet June continued to push forward.
Even though she pouted and grumbled each time her spell broke, June made sure to persevere.
Magna was very proud of her attitude. He watched her pick herself up after every failure, determination burning in her eyes as she continued her training.
Suddenly, a fox-like grin appeared on his face as he silently slipped into the shadows.
Currently, June was holding 8 small balls of fire and wind. She controlled them to slowly move around her, working on her control of both the spell and the element.
Magna soundlessly appeared behind her and softly blew against her neck. However, against Magna's expectations, June's body trembled violently as her body locked up.
The spells broke almost instantly, covering both teens in a thin cloud of smoke and dust. Magna froze as he stared at June. Her face was extremely red while a look of actually anger appeared on her face.
She turned towards Magna and seemed to want to shout at him yet all that came from her mouth was a bunch of jumbled words. After a few minutes, she calmed down but continued to glare angrily at Magna.
He knew he really angered her, so he awkwardly started scratching his head as he said, "Sorry June. I didn't know you'd react like that. I just wanted to play a little prank on you."
Seeing the genuine apologetic look on his face, June took a deep breath and exhaled from her nose quite loudly as she said, "I-It's fine, just… please don't do that again. The back of my neck has always been sensitive."
Magna smiled. He opened his mouth to thank her for forgiving him when a soft groan gained his attention. June also stopped talking as she turned to Raven.
The pair watched as Raven slowly sat up. She yawned as she stretched her arms towards the sky, pushing her very large breasts upwards.
Magna could feel a fire burn in his chest but he quickly brought his urges under control as he chanted in his head, 'She's Yang's mother, you'll die if she finds out… She's Yang's mother, you'll die if she finds out…'
As Raven finished yawning, her eyes slowly opened and began to focus. When she finally realised what situation she was in, her eyes widened into saucers as she leapt of the ground.
Once she was in her stance, she quickly reached for her sword only to come up empty handed. She reached into her left boot, hoping to pull out her hunting dagger but again, she was left empty handed.
With no other options, at least that's how Magna saw, Magna slowly approached her as he said, "Stand down Raven. I don't really want to hurt you… alright, I'm lying. I kinda wanna punch you for kidnapping me but that can wait."
"I've taken all your weapons and hidden them." Magna paused. Seeing her actually listen, Magna continued, "You have two choices. Number one, you try and fight us without your weapons. Then, I'll stomp you into the ground, literally. Number two, you act civil and I'll give you your weapons after you help us."
Raven glared at Magna, her crimson eyes gleaming in a savage light. However, the will to fight quickly dimmed as she sighed.
She lowered her hands and silently glared at Magna and June. After a few seconds of silence, Raven rolled her eyes and scoffed, "…Well?"
Resisting the urge to roll his eyes back at her, Magna quickly informed her of his request. He wanted Raven to use her semblance and transport both Magna and June to Qrow's location.
Sadly, Raven quickly shook her head and said, "No. I'll take you to my brother but she needs to come back to the tribe."
However, the second she finished speaking, a heavy pressure like none she's faced before appeared. It weighed on both her body and her mind as the world became silent.
"I think your misunderstanding the situation here, Raven. There is no room for negotiation. You either take us to Qrow or you can fuck off back to your tribe and I keep your weapons as trophys." Stated Magna.
What he was currently using was conqueror's haki. Unfortunately, Magna didn't have Luffy as a cluster. He had a few clusters from the one piece series, some of them even being apart of Luffy's crew but sadly, none of them were Luffy.
The star cluster he currently had equipped was that of the pirate empress, Boa Hancock. It was… awkward, to say the least, when he recieved her memories. Some of them were rather traumatic while others just made him feel like a perv.
However! He did learn something new when he gained her abilities. When he changes star cluster, his body actually transforms to match the clusters abilities.
Not an appearance change but a biological one. His body adopted the characteristics of Boa's body, minus the gender change, giving him access to her devil fruit abilities. However, this also meant that he lost the ability swim and that seawater made him weak.
Thanks to Boa's devil fruit, Magna transformed from 'handsome' to 'extremely handsome'. He mulled over the idea of using his devil fruit abilities on Raven but decided against it. He needed her to open a portal to Qrow.
It's been a week and a few days since Magna went missing and he can only imagine how angry his mother and the girls are. He shuddered at the thought of their anger.
Sometimes, Emily's anger made Yang look chill. Shaking his head, Magna focused on Raven, causing the pressure around her to double as he calm said, "Your answer?"
Raven struggled to keep herself from fainting as she desperately squeezed out the words, "F-fine… I'll… take you two…"
Almost the instant she agreed, the pressure disappeared. Raven collapsed to the ground, sweating and panting as Magna turned around and said, "Good. We leave after lunch."
Even though she felt sorry for Raven, June made no effort to help her. Since Raven didn't try to help her after she brought her into the tribe, June decided to repay the favour in kind. After all, she already repaid Raven for saving her life.
