บท 206: Mustered His Courage

Lin Mingyue felt lightheaded as another scene ran through her head. This time, she saw an image of a young lady with her shoulder red with blood. A man, dressed in black was looking at the lady's injured shoulder anxiously.

Although she could not see the man's face, Mingyue could tell that the man was the same man who had appeared in her vision a few times.

The scenes go as quickly as they came. Once the image disappeared, Mingyue staggered backward and Yang Yun had pulled her into his arms to prevent her from falling.

"Are you alright?" Yang Yun asked.

Mingyue nodded. "Just a bit lightheaded. It's fine." she put a hand on Yang Yun's arm to assure him.

Yang Yun frowned at her reply. He looked around and saw a bench in the garden. "Let's sit down for a while," he suggested. Before Mingyue could decline, he added, "I won't be at ease to let you climb up the stairs when you're looking like this."
