In the final hours of an apocalypse triggered by their own hubris, mankind is reduced to a single chance to change their fate, to change the past and provide them with the opportunity to defend against this impossible foe. Will their champion succeed? Or will the cosmos doom humanity to extinction?

Reviewing my own story just because I can! I wrote this for one of the writing contests, and whether I continue working on it is entirely dependent on whether it generates enough interest to make it worth my time and energy.
