บท 5: Chapter 4

[So.....where did you get the ticket for the cruise again?] Mikaela ask Mark who was currently sunbathing near the pool.

They were currently onboard of a cruise ship enroute to europe and both of them attracted quite a lot of people as Mikaela was on her swimsuit showing off her body and Mark only has his trunks also showing off his sculpted body.

[Ah...I win it on a lottery] Mark casually replied.

[don't you have like an unlimited amount of money? so why do you have to resort to such things? won't that be too unfair for others?] Mikaela made a point because with Mark's luck a lottery is surely a walk in the park for him.

Mark took off his glasses and look at Mikaela [Mika, they were frauds and the lottery was rigged at the start so no one was supposed to win the lottery. I just delivered justice for the millions of people they scammed] Mark said as he grabs a wine bottle and poured both of them some wine passing the other one to Mikaela.

Mikaela took the offered wine and questioned [And how do you know all that?]

Mark just smirk and replied [I use the Force]

Mikaela frowned and said [That's not how the force work!] she took a sip on her wine and continued [speaking of which didn't you tell me, you became the embodiment of the Force so technically you don't have to take sides like grey jedis, you can use any of the skills of both sides right?]

Mark nod and replied [correct but the Force is much more powerful than that, The Force in the movies is way weaker than what I have. I not only can use the force choke and force push but I can also control the four conventionally accepted fundamental forces such as gravitational, electromagnetic, strong and weak nuclear forces. Unlike in the movies I can control both four.]

[huh...that's pretty OP.] Mikaela said realizing just how powerful the force truly is. [well that's a pretty convenient power and I don't think I have seen that kind of power from any other gods.]

[Nah....I think there are gods more powerful than me but anyways you said that your family fell on the cataclysmic event right?] Mark ask.

Mikaela thought for a moment and said [I was one of the Youngest in the Aztec Myth and also the weakest as almost all of the Aztec gods are war gods and they really hate weakness. Me being the god of progress and the Aztec not wanting change, didn't help my status in the family and I was cast aside as a trophy to be had and if not for that cataclysmic event a few thousand years ago then I would have been just a stress reliever for one of the stronger gods.]

Mikaela without notice started clinching her fist drawing blood as tear falls down on her cheek. Mark hug mikaela and comforted her [I'm sorry Mika, I shouldn't have brought that up.]

Mikaela reciprocates the hug and continued [The Earth was attack by a powerful being and one by one my family falls then turned into beings who feed on fear. It happen so fast that only few of us remained, It was pretty horrifying and satisfying at the same time to see them fall]

Mark hugs her much tighter and said [It's okay now, they're already gone anyways tell me about this being that attack your family]

Mikaela wipe the tears off her cheeks and said [His name is Stephen Wolf the end of worlds, thankfully the tribes of man, atlanteans and amazon banded together to form the unity as they defeated him and finally push back his army.]

After discovering that other gods exist in this world and not only the Olympians, he decided to scan the world and found out that there are indeed other gods but only a few of them are left. [So that's why I didn't find any of them when I scan the world, they died off at the war or faded out of existence.]

Mark then decided to go for a swim and invited Mikaela. Mark then got unto the pool as he gestured for Mikaela to join him [come on!]

Mikaela just smiled at the first human friend she had for being considerate about her feeling as she stands up from her spot and walk slowly to the pool, she did a little sway making the other girls jealous and the guys drool.

She smirk and thought to herself [No man is capable of resisting this body of a god] [Come on Mika!] Mikaela look at Mark and sighed [Okay maybe not everyone] .

Mikaela joined Mark in the pool as both of them enjoyed a refreshing swim.

later that night

[A table for two please] Mark and Mikaela decided to dine in the ship's restaurant. The two of them are currently wearing a formal clothing as Mark wore an all black suit and Mikaela wore a white dress to contradict his.

There contradicting attire drew the looks of many people in the restaurant as both of them are just amazingly beautiful and handsome.

The others could only stare at them as they took a seat near the center of the restaurant, where a pianist was playing on a pure white piano.

They dine as they thoroughly enjoyed the great dish that the restaurant serve for them, all the way to the last piece.

Drinking their wine Mark thought of something and said [Hey you wanna dance?]

Mikaela look at him and smiled [sure why not].

Mark got up from his seat and offered his hand to Mikaela [can I have this dance My Lady?] she took it and replied in a teasingly manner [Yes you may] and the both of them proceeded to the center and start slowly dancing.

They slow dance as the other costumers watch them in awe as the both of them were so regal that they can't help but think that they were on a fairy tale.

The both of them got into the music as the both of them got closer to each other. Mikaela said as she felt his heartbeat [Thank you for Adventure Mark].

Mark just smiled and replied [Well it's pretty sad to travel alone so a companion is also great to have.]

Mikaela also smiled and replied [Yeah...being alone is pretty lonely] remembering the days when she was just on her own watching people come and go. She had meet and fall in love numerous times before but she never really did something about it as she knows that they will all just fade in the sands of time leaving her alone once again but now..... she thought as she look at the smiling face of Mark maybe...just maybe this time it's going to be different.

She got into the rhythm until the song was finish and the both of them got to their room.

Maybe because of the influence of alcohol or some unholy plot armor Mikaela stumbled and she almost falls down but she was catch by Mark himself. Their face was so close to each other that the both of them can hear the both of them breathe, Mikaela and Mark unconsciously got closer until their lips meet unto a very passionate kiss.

They continued for a minute when Mark pulled and said [maybe we should stop before something unexpected happen]

Mikaela was a bit dejected but she knows that they were going to fast and needed to slow down. After changing they got unto their respective beds and turned in for the night.

[Goodnight Mika..] Mark said as Mikaela replied [Goodnight.....Mark..].
