When Jiang Li disappeared from the place, even though he let the military take the giant monsters and the fae race members away, he secretly tailed behind them and then snuck into the place where they put the dinosaurs. 

The ones assigned to guard the prison were vigilant, but Jiang Li was wearing the uniform and still looked like a new recruit. The guards did not shoo him away. The hypnosis also helped in guiding them to become friendly to him. 

That was how he managed to get some free information about the fae and the dinosaurs.
