The trebuchets had taken out chucks of the testudo and effectively scattered the enemy.
I immediately fired the black signal flare skyward in the direction of Commander Darling location. The trebuchets fired the fiery boulders over the forest. The gates opened as the knights charged in the designated positions.
The Dark Siders broke formations and were being picked off the path like scrap meat. "Ohh Darling! Hope nice of you to join us!" I jestered. "Thanks General Keeler. How goes your day?" He said with a soft smile on his face. I leaned towards the right and slashed a Dark Sider's torso with the tip of my halberd as I replied "Lovely! And here comes Kelvin!"
"Sister would be upset if she hears about this, brother. I gave sister my word that you would not have a single scratch on you. So you better take good care of my beloved sister." Captain Kelvin loves Kol to the point that it almost seemed like he worships his very own older sister.
The final 2 phalanx had retreated to the garrison on the mountain and started to charge down upon us.
I drew my long sword and sheathed my halberd back on to Adam. We were ready for the Dark Siders attack. I rushed into Bastille with the other knights, deflected a bastard sword as I attacked a Dark Sider. She used to be a Fallen Angel, a sworn enemy to the Dark Siders.
I spun to the left as she swung her Bastard sword towards me. Seeing as her guard was down, I quickly slashed at her neck with a wide arc only to miss and her blade skimming my breast plate. She was fast and skilled. Probably would have beaten the crap out of me should I not have my armour.
Taking a step back I recomposed myself, and lifted my blade high above my head abs slammed my blade on to her guard. "You are looking gorgeous! Please just surrender. It would be a pity to kill you." I said in a gentle tone.
" Well, only if you promise me that you will be mine, handsome." she said with a grin and pushed me away with a kick. Swinging the pummel of her short sword towards my head. Barely being able to protecting my head, I guided the pummel onto my armour, just enough to stop and grab her sword.
