"What the fuck?" Lith looked at his Abomination features fading away and ad then at Kamila as if he saw her for the first time.

"Don't worry, babe, it's all right. You just need to rest and to give your poor brain a break. Otherwise you're not going to perform well at Faluel's." She said.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"We both know that tomorrow you have a lesson you cannot afford to miss. Whoever did this, they wanted to destroy you by attacking where it hurts the most and they went this close to succeeding." She pointed at his cracked rings, her wounds, and at the lingering blackness on his hands.

"If you change your life because of what happened tonight, if you drop everything just to prepare for their next attack, then you'd be just dancing in the hand of the culprit.
