"Negotiate?" (Harry)
"Yes, Yes. Senior is so strong so he shouldn't bully poor people like us. Where just doing whatever we can to get the minimum amount of money to survive, you know?" (Knife Guy)
Poor? He should at least do a good job if he wants to lie. The gold watch on his hand looks like it's worth a lot, let alone all the other jewellery he has on him.
"You're also poor? Look at me with these crappy clothes. Do you think I'm in a better situation? Also, what do you mean by bullying? You guys were attacking me with weapons, If I didn't learn a bit of martial arts I would be dead right now." (Harry)
If you want to be shameless, so can I. Let's see who's better!
"Senior, how can you say that? These weapons are only fake plastic thinks that bend easily. Let alone kill you, these won't even give you a scratch. More importantly, since you're going to that lottery place than why don't you give your nice subordinates some of your winnings? For someone like you, such a little amount won't mean much." (Knife Guy)
"Subordinate? Since when did you become my subordinate? Also, what do you mean such a small amount of money won't mean much? Every dollar counts when your poor like me." (Harry)
"How can you be so heartless? You took our first time like that and you're not going to take responsibility? You should at least take us in as disciples and help us take over the entire city!" (Knife Guy)
I take back what I said. This guy isn't shameless at all. He's just a giant idiot. There's no talking sense to this guy so I'm left with only one choice. To run away!
Turning around to face the annoying guy, I jump up with my hand being positioned above his head. Using his head as a leverage point, I flip over him, land on my feet and run out of the alleyway.
Ignoring their angry shouts, I run away as fast as possible until their voices fade into the distance. Remembering that I got a mission after I bought the martial arts ability, I check to see if I had completed it.
'Ding! Urgent Mission Completed! 10,000 EP, 10,000 IP, 5000(3500) AP, 5000 SP Recieved'
'Ding! Congratulations for levelling up, your current level is lv17!'
'Ding! Congratulations for levelling up, your current level is lv18!'
'User can see your current level in the Status menu.'
Good, it seems I completed it just by making them surrender. I'm guessing the AP in brackets is how much I truly get due to the amount that was taken from getting the martial arts ability earlier. That reminds me.
"System, I didn't ask earlier for some reason but why do I get such a bad headache when I receive the abilities?" (Harry)
'Due to a large amount of Information being transmitted into your brain during such a short period of time, your body doesn't take it well and a headache forms. As for why you didn't ask earlier, It is due to the system remodelling itself to fit into this world. Therefore any previous knowledge you knew about the system is slowly being erased.' (System)
"Wait, You're erasing my memories?" (Harry)
'Only of the original system inside the original book. The original book will still be in your memories, you just won't remember what type of system was used inside of it.' (System)
Mixed feelings are rising in my chest as my memories being erased comes to light. Knowing that I probably don't have a choice in the matter, I try to bottle them up and ignore them.
Grabbing my phone out this time, I use it to find the directions of the place I want to go. After about an hour of walking in circles due to my crap sense of direction, I'm finally in front of the building I need to enter.
I walk up to the building and see the sliding doors open and close as people enter and exit. I also see two security guards standing on either side of the door and for some reason staring directly at me with wary eyes.
I walk closer to the door and notice the guards getting tenser and tenser as I get closer. Do they know I know martial arts? As I finally get to the door, one of them finally make a move and signals me to come to the side. I'm not here to make trouble so I decide to do so.
"Uh, sir, no mister. Are you here for anything important today?" (Guard)
"I've come to collect the money I won. Is there a problem?" (Harry)
"I see. I guess I just got a bit nervous since you seemed kinda scary and people don't really come dressed as you do. It's fine though you can go in." (Guard)
Scary? Maybe I was right about them sensing I knew martial arts. Looking at my reflection in the mirror, I can understand what he was saying. My black hair, which looks clean unlike its previous unwashed oily self a few days ago, is down to my chin. My hair is also blocking my aqua coloured eyes which look vibrant as if I'm full of life. Looking closely, my skin looks free of the pimples that were on it previously and looks like the so-called jade-like skin in the novels I've read. Did levelling up make me more handsome?
Trying to push down the narcissistic personality being born inside of me, I walk into the building and go to the front desk to talk to one of the female receptionists at the front desk. She soon notices me coming and looking at my clothing a look of disgust appears in her eyes. Deciding to experiment, I tuck the excess hair in front of my face behind my ears, looking straight into her eyes. As soon as she sees my eyes she blushes and starts fidgeting, trying to make herself look more beautiful. I didn't think it would be so effective. Sadly for her though, I'm only interested in 2D girls.
"Hi there, can you help me check to see if I won anything on my lotto entry?" (Harry)

JackTwo Moral of the story: Don't be shameless in front of a proffesional. You'll just be forced to run away.
Hopefully I'll be able to finsih the small money arc soon and summon the first person from the system
