RiDiculous, frustrating, stupid FL. 1.5/10 rating. This story is about a stupid female lead. Got fired bec of a rumor, though she just want to move on, she did not even clear her name. She just accepts what people tHrows at her. Duh ur mom suicide bec ur father committed *****ery. What filial piety? Thats a stupid concept used by Old mean people who wants to leech off the young generation.U cant expect ur son or daughter to be nice to u when u dOnt do the same. If that was me, i wouod have Cut my ties to that father of a scumbag when my mom died. She was so stupid to keep on expecting something fRom her trash family. U Get hUrt bec u wont let go of the Toxic people That torture u. U dont deserve it but u dont want to moVe on from it. Which makes u stupid. So all in all this is not a good read, so frustrating and depressing it makes me want to knock some common sense to the female lead. LIve ur life and stOp being bitter.
So I have only read first few chapters yet but I can't help but notice the similarities between this story and other story named "The most loving marriage in history: Master Mu's pampered wife" Here are the similarities between both novels that can be seen by only reading first few chapters: 1: Male lead and Female goes on a blind where female lead hurts her hand and ML helds her hand and give his handkerchief. The only difference is that in this story the female lead hurts her hand by candle wax but FL in "TMLMIH:MMPW" FL hurts her hand by spilling coffee. 2: Both Female leads are deceived by their fiances who cheated on them with their step-sisters. 3: Both Female leads have a father who is city mayor. 4: Both female leads have a step mother who are terrible to them. Lets see if I find more similarities in upcoming chapters. P.S I'm gonna read it even if it is totally similar to "The most loving marriage in history: Master Mu's pampered wife" because it was my favorite novel.
This is a bit terrible and also it's bad in a sad way. Could have been so much better. It is mentioned multiple times the FL is not stupid she's even a professor in the beggining. Which is true shes not stupid...she's a RAGING moron. Example of this is she walks into obvious traps over and over again where out of nowhere the ML appears to save. Her family is cliche evil and not once, not twice, but three times they lure to an event drug her try to sell her off to spend the night with a strange. She learns nothing from these attacks continues to act like she can handle everything herself. I'm disappointed she should after first or second attack realize she should have zero contact with them but keeps going head first into a brick wall of stupid.

she loved her family to a fault. they all used her for there know need and blamed her when it went bad. how she has found love and is married. msjjz
Enjoyable story. FL can stand on her own with her strength of character. ML is domineering yet doting. Side characters and their arcs are refreshing.
not completed reading it but based on ma experience it shall be good I think.......hhhaaaa the overall is amrked by guessing So i think its fun

alright!! this is the third time i wrote a review! and tbh, this book actually hv a very good background story!! but the story development just -im sorry- suck! I love the character of male lead, that showing his love and care toward female lead, but the relationship seems boring to me, with the plot with the Tang Yun and the family of ML! even until i read chapter 88, still cant figure it out why this b-girl tang yun, seems special to male lead! the female lead also already asked him three times!! but he still kept distracted and thats makes me lost interest to this book!
Seriously don't read this novel as it is beyond stupid. Repetitious stupid plot again and again as well as stupidity in most if the character. Save your SS for a better worth reading novel.
This book is very interesting,it brings back a lot of good memories,the writer should keep it up The first twenty chapters is very very interesting

Just read the raw version and it's really interesting. I give 2 points for updates because 2 chapters/day for a thousand chapters, it will take years to read it. In my opinion, the story development is quite low at the beginning. What I hated the most is that the male character and his family is often described as being really powerful but the female character ends up being kidnapped many times. The way the two brother's relationship is always worse but nobody is clearly doing something to it also enrages me. I would have already killed Jinran.

Been hooked up reading this book and it really interesting. I like FL character so far except there are times that the author showed a ‘dumbness’ in her character. Seems she does not have the ability to judge one’s behaviour. She always fall into her family’s trap. So far the turn of events is good. One downside is error in character’s name. There some paragraph talking about Ning but the name use is either Xue or her father. Same thing with the Jing brothers. Maybe if the author have time, he or she can edit the book.
Just started reading this and i am already hooked up. The female character being smart, intelligent and strong is what captured my interest. Similarly i like the bestie character. Jolly, and really good the Ning. The male lead is naturally ice block similar to other CEO portrayals. Indeed the story is good and interesting.
The female lead is a sh*tty ass doormat who needs the ML to resolve her issues. She should just die I swear and everyone would be happy. F*ck her

i love this story so much, at first i was thinking that it was just another romance story on webnovel but the plot is different from usual novel. - the mc has a doctorate in language and is at first a teacher then when she is fired she becomes the ml's assistant (hence the title) so no entertainment!! 🤗 - the ml just take over the familial enterprise at 32 (which i think is more logical than becoming CEO just after graduating) - the ml is indeed a bit cold but not a jerk or anything more like polite and distant and when he realizes that he is falling in love with her, he become more warm and decide to woo her properly and not just take her to register a marriage 🙄 - there is of course the typical evil stepmother/daughter, ex-fiancé and the mc's father is a big jerk who seems to hate his daughter but it seems that there something more bc someone is trying to harm the mc in the shadow - the only thing that need improvement is the mc who is a bit of pushover, she is too nice and never retaliate against her crapy family and just endure but she seems to start to change so i think she will realize that she can't continue like this 🤗 all in all it's a very good novel with sweet romance (the ml is such a sweetheart 😍😍) and a more interesting plot than usual 🤗
This is an interesting novel with straight to the point with the loving black bellied couple. They both protect each other like they are the only people that matters.

It was good I liked the attantion to detail in the story or novel I also like all the different parts there was to the book or novel over all I enjoyed it

Good plot. It’s never boring and goes from one arc to the next. It’s the kind of story that you’re so engrossed in and want to read it all at once but then you hold yourself back because once you read it all you have to patiently wait for updates
