บท 6: im now the city mayor. now what?
ive read too many novels to know that its a bad idea to just let them go. so i ordered adobo and bagnet to kill them.
the arrogant mayor heard my command and he stopped. the mayor and his people all turned around and hurled words of anger towards me. stuff like "what do you think you are doing you criminal, you do not appreciate our kindness, you should be glad that we are letting you go..."
they stopped talking and started to run when adobo had bitten the head of a general. bagnet moved quickly and swiped the legs of everyone. injured and howling in pain but these people still have the guts to order the newly arrived soldiers to attack me.
blood and limbs began to fly everywhere as my pets toyed with the soldiers. things quieted down when they realized that adobo and bagnet will not attack anyone that surrenders. so they threw their guns to the ground and knelt down.
the family members of those injured arrogant morons run to aid them. they poured lesser healing potions. these potions cost 100 copper coins each and can instantly close any wound with some weak healing. it cannot regrow limbs but there is no longer any danger of bleeding to death or infection.
a young girl about 18 or 19 walked straight to me and slapped me. she broke her hand. im still wearing my armor. what do you expect?
"why are you doing this?" she clutched her hand while crying. "you are not human."
"ask them what happened. tell them that the merchant sells a twisted truth serum. it gives great pain for every lie. and the good news is that the pain will last for 3-5 years." i pulled out a bottle of medium healing potion. it costs silver coins so they definitely havent seen this.
"my name is tifanny. i know everything that my father, the city mayor, has done. i know that he has done many cruel things. but he did that for me and my sisters." she took a step forward and looked me in the eye. "you do not have any right to hurt him."
i dont really care what they think. this is a new world. it isnt safe to let your enemies go and become stronger. thats why i gave the order.
"bagnet. adobo. eat."
because im wearing a helmet they didnt know that my eyes are closed. im not used to seeing people being killed. especially by my pets.
when adobo bit the mayors head off a message box appeared.

huh? whats this? is this my real skill? i opened my inventory and clicked the tab that was grayed-out previously. i can see the city in one of the slots. more information became available after clicking it. i can choose which to sell. i can even sell everyone in the city as slaves.
i thought for a bit and finally decided. ill sell criminals as slaves. but first im going to sell everything in this city except for humans and animals.
then a bright light flashed and everything was gone. all i can see is a huge barren wasteland and lots of people. i approached the merchant and bought an artifact that send my voice to peoples minds. it costs 15 silver. its pricey but i need it right now.
"listen up. this is a new world and new rules will now apply. you are all my possessions. follow me and live. or die. i will recreate this city. anyone who doesnt want to follow my rule will become food for my pets."
a few people voiced their complaints. and my pets began to eat. who would have thought that that would be their last words.
adobo and bagnet ate a few dozen people before everyone learned to shut their mouths. when i told them to gather up, they obediently followed my command.
i bought an elf from the merchant it costs 30 gold coins. im surprised an elf would sell another elf as a slave. but i have no complaints. elsa, the elf i bought is only 26 years old according to human years. she is a wizard that can use elementary magic.
"elsa im giving you some funds. build a city. you will manage this city in my stead. buy what you need from the merchant. also, dont kill anyone who doesnt follow your orders. just capture them. ill sell them as slaves later."
i gave elsa 10,000 gold coins. i also left adobo and bagnet to patrol the area. then i hatched 4 more gluttonous jungle cats. i named them curry, donut, ensaymada and flaxseed. they will follow me to clear the monsters outside my city.
