บท 2: i have the power of inventory?
"a personal storage space? enjoy? #@$&#! are they insane? i come into this world where monsters will fall like rain and what? they gave me a magical backpack. @##_-#@#+#&@@$#!"
obviously my adlib started the moment i remembered things after waking up. its a good thing im alone. otherwise people would think im crazy and maybe even lock me up.
after ive calmed down i looked around. im in a locked wooden room. kind of like those houses common in the rural areas. near the door i saw a black jacket. judging from the size its a womans jacket. as i looked at it, i felt like im remembering something. then pain overwhelmed me as memories flooded into my mind.
my name is peter. its this body's name. a young ordinary guy from a poor family. nothing worth mentioning. the thing of note is his date natalie. the illegitimate daughter of the city mayor. they kidnaped her along with peter three weeks ago. the mayor paid for the ransom. the kidnapers released natalie and left peter in the house. the sad thing is that he died of hunger in that house.
peters memories are actually simple. what took a while to absorb are all his thoughts while dying of hunger inside this room. and now im in his body. still trapped in this room. oh! i have a power. its the ability to store things in another dimension. what bad luck.

ok. lets look at things in a positive way. i have a power. im able to move within the room. all i need is to escape the room. what can i do that he cant?
nothing. im in his body which is weak from hunger. i dont think i can use a storage power to destroy a wall.

im really hungry. i need food. theres nothing here except furniture a door and walls. when i concentrated at a nearby cabinet i felt my power activating. with a thought the cabinet vanished. i felt its presence inside of me yet at the same time it feels like its someplace else. i crawled to the place where the cabinet is thinking there might be food in there. that is the only place peter didnt look. i doubt he can lift a cabinet.
unfortunately theres no food. i also stored the other furnitures and still no food. but theres a trap door. thats good news. but its locked. i cant open it and its driving me crazy.
i wanted to place the cabinet over the trap door to cover it. so that i dont think about it. when i tried thinking of placing the cabinet back i realized i can control where the cabinet will appear. immediately i willed it to appear a foot above the trap door. it came down with a loud crash. the trap door is sturdy so i have to repeatedly store and release the cabinet over it. soon it opened.
it came crashing down destroying the stairs as it fell and blocking the way. good thing i can just store it again. then i released a smaller cabinet and jumped on it and entered the room. theres some supplies over it, some boxes with bottled water and easy to open cans. theres also tools, weapons and most importantly several bags of money.
i opened a can and ate. after eating a little i stored everything and slept. when i woke up and felt hungry i just took something from my storage and eat. then i climbed back into the room. abusing the cabinet by storing it and releasing it over and over to destroy the floor is my current escape strategy.
after destroying the floor i cant see nothing but soil. so i released a shotgun and a box of shells near me and began to shoot the walls.
an hour later. im free.
