บท 7: Chapter 6 - Are You Serious?
Jeongguk's POV
After waving goodbye to Yeri, I took out my headphones and continued listening to Yuri's music covers. I couldn't understand them since they were in English, but I could tell its full of meaning. I like the blue mask she always wears while singing. It's really unique.
I got on the bus and sat down. I started to hum along to the song. Suddenly, the girl in front of me turned around to look at me.
"Jeongguk?"
"Oh... noona! Hi!" I exclaimed. She smiled. "Hi! Where are you going? This bus goes to the city. So you're obviously not going home." I laughed. "I have to go to a meeting. I'm a trainee at an entertainment company." She looked shocked. "Really? Me too!" We started to laugh together. "What a coincidence." I said.
The gears in my head were already at work. She has a meeting too? What? She gets off at the same stop. Is she.... a trainee for Big Hit? She walked in the exact same direction as me.
Thankfully she went to the 5th floor while I went to the 8th floor. When I arrived, all my hyungs were already there. I nodded a greeting to them and took a seat next to them. "Is she here yet?" I asked Bang Pd-nim. He shook his head.
My heart instantly plummeted. After 5 minutes, we heard a knock on the door. "Come in."said Bang Pd-nim.
The door opened and Yeri walked in. 'Oh crap.' I cursed in my head.
Yeri's POV
Moment of truth.... I opened the door. I saw 7 guys there. Wait they're all guys? I stared at them in disbelief. Hang on. "Jeongguk?" Wow, should have seen it coming.
"Noona?" he asked. We turned to Bang Pd-nim who was sitting at his desk calmly. "I see you have met Jungkook, Yeri. Come boys, don't be shy introduce yourselves."
The tallest one stood up. "Hello. My name is Namjoon. My stage name is Rap Monster." The next one had wide shoulders. "Hi, I'm Jin. I'm the oldest.... I think..." One beside him had a cute gummy smile. "Call me Suga." The boy next to him jumped up excitedly to introduce himself. "Hello! My name is Hoseok. You can call me J-hope too."
It was the shortest one's turn. "Hi, My name is Jimin." The boy sitting in between Jimin and Jeongguk started to introduce himself. "Hi! I am Taehyung. My stage name is V."
Then, I looked at Jeongguk. He was the last one. "Hi, noona. My stage name is Jungkook. You can call me that." I nodded.
"I guess it's my turn now." I took a deep breath. "My name is Yeri." Bang Pd-nim clapped his hands and stood up. Now that you have introduced yourselves, you can go back to your dorm. Yeri, do you want to stay with them or at your apartment?"
I answered immediately. " My apartment. They are already crammed in their dorm. I don't want to trouble them." I suddenly thought of a great idea. "Hey, why don't one of them stay with me at my apartment since they are crammed in a room. I have an extra room at my apartment."
He started to consider my suggestion. "That's a great idea. Taehyung, you can move in with her." He nodded.
After the meeting, I followed the boys to their dorm. I walked in and saw that my suggestion must be heaven for Taehyung. Their dorm was really small for 7 boys. We helped him to pack his stuff. After an hour, we were finally done. I got all their phone numbers before Taehyung and I left for any important matters.
Taehyung and I carried his stuff to the bus stop. I broke the ice between us. "So, Taehyung. How old are you?" He looked at me. "18. How about you?" I answered. "I'm 17."
During the trip to my apartment, we got to know each other more. When we finally got in my apartment, I walked to the empty room. "Taehyung, this is your room." He nodded. "Thanks. And please call me Tae." I grabbed the spare apartment key and gave it to him. "Here is the house key, Tae."
