Looking toward Feng Qi, a thousand thoughts swam around in Meng's head.
How could she teach Feng a life lesson he would never forget?
She understood that the person in front of her wasn't the amazing 'superhero' in the book yet. He was still a twelve year old child who needed nurturing and care in order to grow. However, just understanding wasn't exactly knowing how.
Full of anxiety, Meng finally stepped toward Feng Qi as she hardened her willpower.
Even though she didn't know how to teach him, it didn't change the fact that he needed to be taught. Seeing how easily he destroyed the dolls he probably had the same problem in his past life.
Being resourceful was one of the number one things a ruler should know if they want to change the world, which was something the Feng Qi definitely wanted to do.
"AHHHHH!" a scream broke out in the crowd all of a sudden making Meng pause in shock. Coming out of her thoughts she looked around to realize that all of the bystanders had started to shake violently .
"Mommy she's coming closer are we going die!" A child spoke with a trembling voice as he looked at her with fear. Meng's face started to twitch when she heard the comment and felt very pitiful inside. Were they like this because the maid lost her arm?
But, Meng was still extremely confused about the situation. 'Clearly it was the maid who ripped her own arm off when she tried to pull me forward at full force, what did it have to do with me?'
An annoyed frown came over her face and she hesitantly looked up to see Feng Qi's expression.
Immediatly her face darkened when she saw that he looked like he was gonna pass out any second from fright. Even after losing her arm, the maid was still causing trouble for her... didn't she let her off too easily?
Seeing that the nuturing approach had already crash and burned, Meng stopped thinking about how to teach Feng Qi nicely. Without bothering to approach him in case he ran off she gave him a cold glance before lifting up her hand.
The audience gasped in horror when they saw that Meng had finally made her 'move' on Prince Feng, already imagining his mangled body on the ground.
Some on them even went as far as to grab their kids and cover their eyes so they wouldn't have to see another horrifying scene. The girl was willing to rip off her maid's arm in public who knows how far she is willing to go?!
Shadow one shared the same thoughts as everyone else as he moved protectively in front of Feng Qi and a cold sweat went down his forehead. 'Out of all people why did his master have to smile because of this person? There was definetly nothing funny about her!'
The room had grown quiet when finally, Meng's melidous voice sounded "You have a debt of one million gold coins. Pay up." Her voice broke through the silence in the room making everyone stare at her in shock.
The audience wanted to pull their hair in fusteration when they such a scene.
To commit robbery in broad daylight, wasn't she being to cool about it? The person she is robbing isn't even someone random, but rather her own finance, how shameless can a person get?! Their fusteration grew when they heard a voice answer her back right away coldly.
"Fine."
Everyone stared at Feng Qi as if he had grown two heads. He was being robbed in front of so many people and he didn't even put up a fight? If this got around where would he even put his face in the future!
Meng was also extremely surprised when she heard Feng Qi's easy going response. The ton of arguements that she had built up in her head ready to throw out at any minute were automatically dispersed in a second.
He eyes narrowed as she suspiciously looked at him standing behind Shadow ones back and tried to read his expression. However, all that she could pick up is that he looked pale and for some reason... annoyed?
She didn't think much into it as her heart was filled with happiness and her eyes lit up. 'Who said that I didn't know my way around kids!? Ha! all I have to is rip off an arm and even the greatest villain of all time is willing to listen.'
She rubbed her chin in a thoughtful manner as she mourned about how sad it was that mothers with troublesome children didn't learn of this method earlier in her world. Now that she had this super cheat of knowledge wasn't it too unfair to struggling mothers? (A: I will not be responsible for traumatized kids.... do not do this at home!)
Feng Qi became curious when the little demon became lost in thought again and never responded to him. "What are you thinking about now?"
Meng was too absorbed in her happy thoughts at that moment and didn't contemplate much before she mumbled "Ripping off arms.."
Feng Wi: "..."
Shadow one: "..."
Audience: "..."
[POOF!] In a millisecond the once full hallway was only left with three people. Those who were running away all shared the one common thought. 'We really misjudged Prince Feng this time, who should worry about face when they are facing certain death!'
Feng Qi felt exceptionally wary when he heard Meng's subconscious response.
"Shadow one hurry and create a contract using one of the papers from my desk." If she was allowed to continue her train of thought than wasn't he asking for a fight?
Shadow one looked at Feng Qi with worry, but seeing his reassuring glance he dutifully went back into the study to write out a contact.
The hallway had descended into complete silence as Feng Qi quietly observed Meng and Meng quietly thought about ripping off arms.
Why did she decide to force him into marrying her? It really didn't make any sense. Clearly just a week ago she was trying to drown him in a pool... how could someone change so quickly?
He no longer thought that Meng wanted to do him harm after learning from Shadow one that she was the one who did his stitches, however he knew that there wasn't a free meal in this world.
"Why do you want to marry me Ru Gu Meng?" He had decided to give her a chance and let
past issues go.
"Eh?" Meng looked up at Feng Qi questionably to see his serious expression. She could tell that this answered mattered a lot to him and wanted to answer him honestly. But, how could she?
Even if she told him the entire truth, he would either label her a demon or think that she was playing with him. Her own became serious as she searched for anyway to answer this question.
People normally got married because of love right? Wouldn't that be the safest answer? However... how exactly could she say she loved a ten year old! Seeing his face become dark Meng knew that she didn't have time to think about it anymore.
Her face became highly unwilling as she forced out the words. "I love you."
