บท 32: Chapter 32: Sickly Stubborn

Aiden took Audrey home, carried her to her room and had taken care of her. His attention was captured by the paper on the wall. It seemed to be a medicine schedule. It then makes him realize that she must have not taken any of her medicine when she followed him earlier.

Before he decided to wake her up, he went downstairs and cooked some porridge for her. After having successfully cooking it, he tasted it and was happy about the result. He cooks from time to time now that he's living alone at his condo unit.

He used to live at a place with lots of servants. Though the house was spacious enough to fit a thousand people inside, living inside such a huge house somehow makes it even emptier. It's somehow a lonely place. Though he misses his dog there something is just missing, his mom.

He then went upstairs with a bowl of hot porridge. Looking at how deep Audrey is sleeping, he regrets that he needed to wake her up.

"Audrey, wake up."

"Mmm…"

"Sleepy head. Wake up, I cooked something for you. Eat it while it's hot."

"Err…what? Aiden?" She slowly opened her eyes confirming that it was indeed him who is inside her room.

"Silly, you look like you didn't know why I'm here. Anyways, here. I may not be the best cook out there but I hope you'll eat this up." He said while giving her the bowl of porridge.

Audrey sat on her bed and said, "Thank you." She then just looked at the bowl on the tray and looked like that she's praying on it.

Aiden looked anxious and asked, "Is there something wrong?"

She just nodded slowly. Aiden noticed that she might still be too weak and figured out that she needed his assistance. So, he said with a smile, "Let me feed you."

Audrey was being obedient and had eaten all of the porridge. Aiden then took her medicine on the table and said, "Now, you need to take you medicine."

Surprisingly, Audrey hid under her blanket for she really hates drinking medicine. Aiden knew that she hates them so he already had planned on doing something ahead.

"If you're not going to drink your medicine I'll use force."

"You…wouldn't." She replied timidly.

"Oh I will." He then took away the sheets from Audrey. She really looked defenseless right now. It's almost making Aiden think of thoughts that were not supposed to be thought of right now.

When he lifted her sheets up he saw that Audrey's clothes were now disheveled for she's already had slept with them. He would want to change her into proper sleeping clothes but he just couldn't. Now it really looks like she's seducing him.

Her skirt was now way up high that almost shows her underwear. Her top is revealing her belly button and shows a bit of her cleavage. Aiden can't now unsee what he saw. It made him feel that situation was dangerous for him specially that they're all alone right now. But he composed himself and proceeded to his plan.

"Just take this tablet and you can sleep peacefully afterwards."

"No." She looked at him looking like she won't falter with her decision.

"Just imagine that this is a sweet candy and we're all done."

"No." The way she looked at him is just making it harder for him to ignore how alluring she looks right now.

"Just try it."

"No."

"Okay. You leave me with no choice."

He then started tickling Audrey's sides. She started laughing.

"Hahaha. Please stop. Hahaha. Hmm!? *Gulps*"

Aiden immediately put the tablet on to Audrey's throat when she was laughing leaving her no choice but to gulp it down.

"Good girl." He then caressed gently her hair and added, "Now, drink this medicine. I don't think you'll like this though." He took the syrup bottle at the table and saw that it was unopened. Before he even put the proper amount at the small measuring spoon, Audrey was now sitting at the farthest corner of her bed.

Aiden was surprised to see how she reacted. It seems that she knew how bad this tasted. He then said, "Audrey, please I just want you to get better."

"Please I think we can skip that one."

"Not happening."

"Please?"

"Just try drinking little?"

"No!"

Aiden then cornered Audrey and tried putting the spoon on to her mouth but she kept on resisting. He also tried using his first strategy by tickling her sides but this time she tried her hardest not to be bothered at all by it.

"Audrey just drink this. Imagine that this tasted like cola or something sweet."

"No!"

Aiden sighed deeply and paused for a moment trying to think of a way on how to make her drink. He then took a glass of water and drank it feeling helpless. It then made him think of something that he feared that may make her despise him afterwards.

He then tried thinking of another way but he thought that this might be the best possible way without using too much force on to her. He just needed to catch her off guard and make her surrender willingly.

He then had his gaze fixed on her hoping that she won't hate him afterwards. Honestly, this situation is much dangerous for him than he already had imagined. He never thought that taking care of the sick would involve such…temptation.

"Audrey, I'm really sorry in advance." He moved closer to her.

"What are you...? Why are you drinking that? Ngh?!"

Aiden took the syrup on to his mouth catching Audrey off guard. He then touched her cheek and wrapped an arm around her waist and pushed himself towards her then kissed her transferring the syrup on to her.

Audrey was completely shocked. She didn't saw it coming. But when she started tasting the syrup she tried pushing Aiden away but the more she tried to the more he kept on holding her tighter.

She completely lost all her strength when Aiden parted his lips making her drink more. The way he's wrapped his arms around her waist makes her feel like his own personal captive slowly melting on to his touch.

She was so preoccupied with how Aiden kisses her right now. Aware that the tangy taste of the medicine is present, it's still making her feel overwhelmed with everything that is happening right now. It's as if she's dreaming.

Aiden was almost lost when Audrey started responding to his kiss. He was surprised and wanted to convince himself that he's only doing this to make her drink her medicine but he can't deny the fact that he really wanted to do this and had just found a way to put it through and couldn't believe that it's happening.
