บท 248: He is right outside

Su Lin stirred awake but she instantly closed her eyes. She made sure not to let it show that her consciousness had returned.

What happened? Did they drug me?

She could feel the weight of her belly pressing down her bladder and for someone like her, it only took her a second to discern the condition of her body.

But the more she realized what happened, the more her heart sank.

She was all alone in this room. Her hands were not tied. Her feet were not tied, but she had no doubt that she had been a prisoner in this room for all this time.

But why? What happened to Luther? She just couldn't understand.

The knot on her body's core was also throbbing painfully. 

She had focussed all the qi she had in her body in that spot and she did not tend to it for so long, it was so painful as if her entire body was going to burst open at any second.
