SLAP.
His left cheek was bruised.
THUD.
A book was thrown to his head.
SLAP.
His mouth started bleeding, but he said nothing. His head was pitifully down, he quietly endured everything, hoping the rage of the CEO would subside when he got tired of beating him.
The CEO was a white haired guy in his 60s. His build was relatively fit for his age, on a normal day you would think of him as a loving uncle who'd give you the best christmas present. However, those calm eyes of his didn't flinch as he watched blood dripping from Mr. Park's mouth.
The one sided beating had been going for 1 hour and like a good punchbag, Mr. Park accepted those punch. Furthermore, there was no sign that the CEO would stop any time soon, for the longer time passed, the angrier he got.
"Did you know how many billions I lost in a day? How many days has it been already?" The old man finally said something to the GreenEast manager.
Mr. Park pitifully lowered his head as he listened to the highest person in StarLord Entertainment counting with his fingers, as soon as it reached 5 the CEO spreaded his fingers and slapped Mr. Park's head again, hard.
SLAP.
Some stars appeared on his vision, tensions built up in his stomach, he was close to throwing up.
Not satisfied with the bruises on his face, the CEO grabbed Mr. Park tight on the collar, almost choking him then yanked him to the floor.
THUD.
Mr. Park's big body helplessly broke the small table into pieces. His whole body trembled in horror as the shattered glasses fell on his skin.
"WHERE. ARE. THEY!!!!!?" The CEO screamed his lungs out, his voice pierced through eardrums causing the poor Mr. Park to force his beaten body on the knees and bowed before the CEO, head touching the floor.
"Han Ryeowook is the only reachable one. He said any matter regarding GreenEast should be discussed by him." He spoke with trembling voice, eyes shut close, what followed was frantic laughter.
"HAHAHAHAHHAA!!!!!!" The CEO nodded his head then clapped his hand like a maniac.
The white haired man rolled his long sleeves up to elbow then stretched his neck. He motioned 2 fingers, instructing Mr. Park to get up and approach him.
Mr. Park held his breath in and did what he was told. At this point he could not say anything back to the CEO, just like a pitiable dog who lost his balls, head bowed down. A solid fist landed on his face.
"Aaargh!!"
Blood splurted from his nose, Mr. Park was groaning and writhing on the floor while covering his face. His nose was done for.
The luxurious office of StarLord entertainment CEO was nothing but a total mess with broken glasses and furnitures.
The secretaries and employees outside the office could hear the scream and broken things yet no one dared to enter. They all had nervous expression on their face. Some female employees were even close to crying. The dark atmosphere was too much for them too handle.
StarLord Entertainment took a big hit when GreenEast announced their departure from the company. The stock price plummeted on that very day and continued to plunge like never before. Many Stars under them lost their deals, promising trainees left the company. The shareholders were furious and tried to fire the CEO.
"Aigoo, Mr. Park. If I ended up being poor how should I feed my dogs? They eat a lot, your meat would not last longer than 2 days. I should at least cremate your bones right? I'm not that ruthless."
"CEO Song.. Let's just have a meeting with Han Ryeow.."
"Uggh!" A kick landed on his stomach before he finished his sentence. A look of disgust flashed on the CEO's charismatic face. He clearly didn't take Mr. Park as a human being.
He lowered himself and sat on his heels. His eyes remained unimpressed as he saw the Manager writhing in pain.
"I'll give you one last chance to use that pointless head before I ask the Shin to remove it. Do you think Han Ryeowook is the one we should handle?
Being with them for 7 years, you should know better than anyone, that Han Ryeowok is in that position because 'someone' put him there. He is the best shield and tank for GreenEast. You can bring the entire world to go against Han Ryeowook and that prideful bastard would never fall on his knees, just who in the world do you think was pulling all of the freaking strings behind Han Ryeowook!?
Why did you think I replaced that stupid Jang Jiseok with you!? Because I thought YOU WOULD BE SLYER AND SMARTER THAN THAT FREAKING FOX KIM YOONJAE!!!!!" His hands found their way to the collars and strangled Mr. Park on the neck.
Mr. Park's eyes turned all white, he had no more strength to endure the beatings. Not wanting the Manager to die, the CEO yanked his head to the side and let go.
"Son Kangyu, no.. it has to be Lee Changhyuk. Find him! If we got his head, Kim Yoonjae would come out from his hiding.
If we got the sly fox, that prideful Han Ryeowook would falter. Son Kangyu and Baek Woochan would follow.
The dearest little brother they protect so much.. bring him to me!"
The CEO collected himself and lit a cigarette. His face was red as he too, was tired from beating him.
A sigh of relief almost slipped from Mr. Park's big nose that was now broken. So he escaped death and could see another day?
But the CEO did not make any sense right now. After spending 7 years with them, Mr. Park knew it better than anyone that among the 5 rebels, the most problematic one was that guy who always looked at others as a pawn on a chess board. He just hasn't gotten into any troubles or involved in any controversy cause he always played his card well!
He tried to open his mouth but words were stuck in his throat. He was feeling pain all over body just from breathing.
"What? Are you dead? Get up. I don't care if you must crawl after your death. Didn't you hear that phone call? Find him before the others!!!!"
