It's not bad, the idea is very good and the story is very interesting, but it has several problems. The writing quality has dropped a lot compared to New Hero DxD, including a point where we have a giant paragraph of the kind that only the worst of new writers make. The most glaring mistake is around chapter 2 where the author misses several times the name of the MC changing to the name of the MC of New Hero DxD. The reasons for making the MC a Devil are not very good, it could have been better explained with some examples and everything would have been more natural. Saying for example that Devil contracts are a good way to find clients, as well as being clearer about the connections he could take advantage of, for example joining a mage guild. The MC doesn't take advantage of his power either, it would be simple to buy life time from homeless people and then sell it to rich or terminally ill people, but instead he runs around doing random jobs to collect money. Another buyer for lifespan would be human mages.

Hou, didn't know you were in webnovel (more like I ignored it lol) but this is good For the story, I loved it, and I love that the Merchant essence is being used, while I have other ones that I like more I can't denied that this is pretty good and am glad that someone decided to use and make an essence story, there not many that last long or that exist as far as I know Love what you are doing for SL and how Ace is handling stuff, even if in the latest chapter you implied he didn't think things through on the Black Blood deal anyways I'm looking forward to reading more of this and how he interacts with future works also I am thinking the Hero clan should either be Greek God descendants that decided to be humanities protectors or something like that, (Maybe seeing how the Greek gods didn't care about them or something wayyyy back then (at the beginning of the clans history) Hestia or such benevolent God/dess decided to unite them) or something that's just my two cents , I would still read whatever your decision

Very good story so far with the mc actually using their brain in order to make deals that are beneficial to both parties and take advantage of enem not knowin about his abilities as well as empowering other weaker people in the story

Interesting story and I like mc’s character but why didn’t mc make himself more handsome? Shouldn’t he be able to trade? Anyways for harem i hope Ophis, Sona and Serafall are in.
