บท 174: Riding the same ship

"Wait." Ren Shiyuan quickly placed his hand on the door to stop it from closing.

She could feel her heart skip a bit because of what he suddenly did. She tried to gain her composure back, she was trying her best not to look nervous. Why was she feeling nervous? It's not like he was going to eat her up!

"It's snowing, and the road is blocked… can I stay here until the road gets clear up?" Ren Shiyuan asked before he blew on his gloved hand to warm it up.

Nian Jiezhen's lips stretched into a thin line as she noticed that the surroundings everywhere were covered by snow and because of it, she didn't have a choice but to allow him to enter her house. She moved to the side and said, "Come in."

Ren Shiyuan's face shone like a radiant sun when he heard her words. He closed his umbrella and shook it before he entered her place.

Nian Jiezhen sighed heavily as she closed the door. "I'm going to prepare you a hot choco."
