บท 140: That's a good idea
Lu Yifeng was surprised by the the kiss she gave him. He never expected her to do that because of the current relationship they have.
"You're my wife." He cupped her cheek as lips curled up. "It's my job to shower you with love."
She gently smiled at him when she heard him say that. For some reason, she felt happy that she was able to encounter this kind Lu Yifeng. The Lu Yifeng in her past was horrible but if she continued to be with this gentle Lu Yifeng, then those horrible times can be replaced, right?
She rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes. "Good night, Yifeng."
"Good night." He kissed the top of her head before closing his eyes
They may not be able to change the past but they can always do something to have a better future.

"You're going to Italy?" Xia Meilin asked in surprise.
"It'll be just for a couple of days. I have a business to attend there." Lu Yifeng said from the other line of the call.

BerriApplepi I went home for my weekend. Earlier, while we were having a lunch together as a family, I found out from my parents that they dated for 5 months and married after that. They are still staying strong and are happily married for 20+ years. That's why I decided to ask them what makes their relationship this strong. They said that they never allow their fights to reach the following day. They will always end it within the same day. I was inspired by them. :D
