บท 137: Just for today

Xia Meilin maintained her distance for the following days. Meanwhile, Lu Yifeng did the same for her. He was not going to force her to him since he knows it will frighten her. Other than that, he tightened the securities around her for her safety since he knows that someone was after her.

In the end, Xia Meilin decided to stay in that villa. The way Lu Yifeng treated her made her good memories overwhelmed her bad ones. Despite that, she was still wary of him that's why she was sleeping in a different room and she rarely talked with him.

Her feelings for him were mixed. Xia Meilin knows that he was a dangerous man and yet, he made her feel safe. He was different, he was patient and kind with her, he was treating her really well. This was bringing confusion to her, whenever she thinks that she wants to leave the place, another feeling would well up which made her stay.
