บท 1047: Following Her...

"Did he talk about me?" Lu Lian asked. 

Wen Zac nodded, "About you and Lu Lijun."

"What did he say?" she asked. 

"He was proud of you for being an obedient girl but felt bad that he couldn't give you much time because of Lu Lijun." Wen Zac replied. 

"Lu Lijun needed him more," she said. 

"He knew you understood it."

The two continued the dinner, talking more about Lu Qiang while certain someone had already lost his appetite. 

Once the dinner was done, the two were ready to leave. Wen Zac looked at where Ming Rusheng sat, but there was no one. 

"When did this guy leave?" Wen Zac spoke, and Lu Lian looked there too.

She didn't know what to think about it. She preferred to console herself, saying it didn't concern her and he was nobody to her. 

Wen Zac accompanied her to the car. "It was nice meeting you," Wen Zac said. 

She said the same and sat inside the car.
