Denki: Before you get pulled back into your cage, right?
The spirit and I are meeting face to face for the first time. For some reason, he was sent back into the cage with me. Even though he was in the cage I couldn't see what he looked like, but his features were indeed masculine.
Bolt: I needed more time!
Denki: Are you trying to trap me, kill me, or worse?
Bolt: Of course, I was. Do you have any idea what I have had to live through every single day of my life! Trapped in a cage like an animal for no other reason than just for being born.
Denki: Then why?
Bolt: You have what I have most. Freedom. I just wanted what everyone else has.
Denki: You were hurting people. Dad, my friends, and I'm surprised you even had the gall to see Kyoka.
Bolt: I didn't have time to patiently wait for my problems to be solved. This cage limits my powers and corrupts my soul. I wouldn't have to live like this if I only had my own body. You were the lucky one.
Denki: Lucky one? I don't understand. What's the cage deal anyway?
Bolt: Really. I know you're dumb, but not this dumb. It allows you to see what goes on through your eyes while absorbing the negative energy you feel. Every time you get sad, angry, or feel like doing something against your moral code, then the cage absorbs the power to keep me here. The reason I'm so violent isn't cause I want to be mean, but is a result of being constantly pounded by your negative feelings. Thankfully, when you pour too much negative emotions into it, then it opens briefly giving me some room to finally escape.
Denki: How did you get in this position anyway? Who are you?
Bolt: ME. I'm the least of your problems, but you'll find out the truth eventually. Now get out of here before someone tries doing something to that body of yours.
The darkness seems to have a mind of its own as it grabs me out of the cage and slams it shut behind me. I awaken to Jiro looking down at me from above.
Denki: Hey. What's up?
Jiro: You passed out in front of our house. What happened?
Denki: I may be going slightly insane from the many events that just took place.
Jiro: What do you mean? Did something happen to Kyoka again?
Denki: No, this is a more personal problem.
I briefly explain what just happened regarding the spirit, my dad, and my power.
Jiro: Do you even want to go home?
Denki: Not really, but I couldn't possibly stay here when I have so many negative thoughts about what just happened. I'm still upset that my friends are hurt because of me and I know that focusing on it will be exactly what he wants. I just can't help it. He's already tried to get Kyoka to use the power on her him once. Who's to say that he won't try again. Besides, I do know someone that might be willing to let me stay with them.
I call Mirai and ask if I could stay with him for the next couple of days. He reluctantly agrees but asks if I'm going to get clothes from my house before coming over. I told him not to worry about it, I'll figure something out. With that situation out of the way, I call Mini and ask if she's doing okay. She doesn't pick up, but Freezer does and explains that they are all okay. No permanent damage was sustained because of what they call "Evil Denki" did. Doesn't stop me from feeling guilty about it. After that, I slowly walked toward my house to gather some items. When I got to my house, it had a suspicious car up front. I could be police, but I couldn't trust anything right now and neither do I care. I sneaked into my backyard and entered from the back. I gathered up some clothes, money, and some essentials that I'll need while I'm gone. I sneak back out and flee the scene before anyone knows I'm there. I make it back to Mirai's house before collapsing on the sofa.
The next day in class was a haze since I wasn't really focused on what was going on before I was called to the principal's office. I'm a little worried about what they're going to ask me, but I was too angry at everything to care. I enter the office only to see the principal and a police officer talking to each other.
Principal Nezu: Hello, Denki. How's everything going?
Denki: Fine.
Nezu: This is detective Jojo of the Special Task Force Delta.
Jojo: Hello.
Nezu: Do you know why you're here?
Denki: I'm guessing it's not because I'm a great student.
Jojo: Your father is in the hospital right now suffering from serious injuries. Did you know about it?
Denki: My father and I aren't on the best of terms now. I was aware he got hurt, but I didn't know how serious it was.
Jojo: Really, because he was seen with injuries that could only be caused by electricity.
Denki: I'm not the only person in the world who can use electricity.
Jojo: Though you can't deny that its suspicious that you hate your dad and that he's been attacked.
Denki: Just because someone dislikes someone, doesn't mean that they beat them up. If that's the case, then everyone should be a suspect should they not.
Jojo: Then what's your alibi for the night. It'll be even more suspicious if you have none.
Denki: I don't remember that day very well because I passed out and when I woke up everything was hazy.
Jojo: Where did you allegedly pass out?
Denki: In front of Jiro's house.
Jojo: I'm watching you.
He leaves the room and the principal sends me back to my class.
