It had a good start with a good background story and development but in the middle of the story the author decided to add more bullish to the story. For example the author will talk about a side character which just appeared for 2 whole characters (his family- experience - sect -third aunt husband who's is a city lord - bla bla bla) and in the third chapter he will anger the mc and they start fighting and the author will use this chance to waste one or two more chapters by just describing the side character movement or sword and when the author thinks he wasted enough time the side character will die be one hit. So 4 chapters with no point or plot and this happens a lot of the time and it's no wonder the novel has 4k chapters

This novel is good to read up to 2arcs or books. But if you are going to continue reading it to other arc or books you will see that there is almost repetitive plot on the novel like MC going to another world with no one knew that he is some great teacher of their ancestors and a young master of very big clan will antagonize the MC or some clan, sect, group, government. The MC gonna show his power and will conquer that world and then go to another and repeat the story again from the beginning. Such a great novel ruined the the story development by the author. It's disappointing. I drop reading this on 800chaps with no interesting development at the story. I don't know if there's an improvement on the next chapters. Just lurking. 😎

One of the first novels I read. The plot is pretty typical looking back, but it didn't ween me off wuxia at the very least. Not sure how I would enjoy it now with a few other novels under my belt to compare it to, but I'm certainly not reading this beast again.

So is this the same translation from ww? Or is this a new one? I use to read this back in the day but never finish. And i was thinking of going back and finishing it, but i would feel weird if this is just a stolen ww translation, if i remember correctly the guy who did the ww one would always put alot of notes and you could tell he was putting some effort into it.

This novel either suffers from translation problems, or is just so far removed from anything else that I'm missing the point of the story. If I can't understand the basics of the setting or mc in the first four or five chapters I must be missing some context that the author thinks is implicit. I'll continue for a few and see if I change my mind, but so far this is nearly unreadable.

Haven’t started reading this yet as I’m reading too many at the same time and don’t want to get confused. But it sounds extremely interesting and I’ve saved it to my library and can’t wait to read it. Might end up caving and start to read it as I’m waiting for all the other novels to update.
