บท 63: Sixty Three
About a week later I was up in the middle of the night with a candle next to me as I read through a file of information my group had come up with.
I yawned and finished flicking through the report I had been reading before sliding it into the satchel. The satchel looked like it could barely hold the report but it slid in quite easily. It was a custom-made magic bag that could store limitless amounts of objects, provided it could fit through the opening. Needless to say that the satchel was probably worth a capital city. Yeah that's how rare and expensive they are, so naturally I had to make my own. So yeah, a white mini satchel for me~ Best of all I registered my mana with it so no one else could use it. I yawned again and pulled out the report about the Duke whom had attempted to start a civil war and began to read. I started to dooze when my door suddenly opened so naturally I jolted upright and turned my head to see the King and Cross staring daggers at me.
"Do try not to make a habit of barging into a girl's bedroom." I chide but the King, in a white and gold linen pajama set walked over and picked me up.
"You NEVER ever skip sleeping. NEVER Rose. Never." He wore such a furious expression I just kind of allowed him to pick me up. Then his eye caught the document I was reading.
"What is that?" I sighed before gesturing to have him put me down, but he shook his head before picking up the document. I again sighed.
"Fine. Put up a barrier then, Cross can't hear what I found out." I watched their eyebrows rise on their heads and then felt a barrier expand around us.
"So what is this." He shook the paper in his other hand and I started to explain.
"I found evidence that one of the dukes was trying to start a civil war. Cross's dad." I watched his face turn alert and he walked to my bed and set me down, and started seriously looking over the information. Eventually he turned to look at me in awe.
"How the hell did you find out all of this? And the evidence? How?" I grin at him before replying.
"Trade secret. All you need to know is that I've got your back, Kay uncle~" I smile and I heard him mutter "Dangerous." Before he nodded and then dropped the barrier. Cross wore a confused expression but the King smiled before telling him,
"Rose will sleep with her Aunt and Uncle tonight~" He then grinned and carried me to his Chambers and I was forced to sleep there. I was then threatened by the Queen to either sleep like a normal child or she would force me to play with Arthur daily. Scary!!

Cross: Sir, she vanished from the gardens again!
His Majésty: She's so talented isn't she?
Cross: That's not the issue!
His Majésty: How isn't it? She's probably just playing around with you, testing to see how well she can hide from elite guards. Good skill to have too!
Cross: I double that's the case, sir.
